Dunno, it may a a good game. The less it has to do with dreadful Spore, the better. But It is still deemed to fail when D3 comes out.

this game shows some promise at this stage, and I'm curious to see if Maxis will start to develop a Spore curse on the studio.

Well, I'm not a particularly big fan of dungeon crawlers or Spore, so this one looks like a pass for me. It could be very interesting and unique if done right though; like, a cross between Diablo and Pokémon, where you have to build your Pokémon before you can fight them!

On second thought, if it's like that, I might have to buy it.

I will. I strangely enough liked spore. Sure I never really went past the second evolutionary section, but that was because the creation tools were awesome! So yeah, I'll give this a go.

I'm going to wait until I hear more on this before I decide anything, the concept is interesting, but let's hope they can pull it off. From what I've heard via the Darkspore forums was that the heroes/champs are all created by the developers and that the only aspect of the the editor that's going to make an appearance is that you'll be able to shift around the gear and such. I'm hoping this isn't true, but it probably is.

We'll see. I don't know enough about it. I really did want to like Spore, but it just didn't have enough real content to be able to keep me entertained.

I got addicted to getting to the center of the galaxy. I made it and I was disappointed, the reward did not even come close to justifying the time spent.
