I tried it, but I stopped five minutes later. It was disaster tourism really. Wanted to see what all the fuss was all about. Either other people grow weed on their farmville or I'm missing something.

I don't know why, but games on Facebook just doesn't seem to ensnare me. They seem to either be text based progress bars or with graphics that are so cute I need to force myself not to vomit. That and I like a bit of story in games. Not much, but at least a reason to begin playing.

I voted for tried it,because my friends kept harrassing me to be their neighboors to get bonuses.
I saw one of them play it for 1 hour(had to wait for someone, might aswell be doing something) and I told myself I wouldn't get anywhere further than creating a character.
I don't see the appeal of clicking virtual patches of land, them when that's done, click on other people's patches of land.
It more a chore than anything. There's NO sense of achievement.

These are the same people that tell me there's no point in gaming and don't believe me when I argue that FPSs makes us get better reflexes/hand-eye coordination,RTSs makes us better at management and RPGs future planning(ie:eek:ptimal character builds,etc..)

I've seen someone playing it, but never tried it myself. I don't own a facebook account nor do I intend to.

Nope. If I wanna do that stuff...I'll play Harvest Moon.
Damn you, that's what I was supposed to say!

Ah well, no harm done I guess, just wanted to say something more than "this" or "I second that".

It's true, though, much rather play Harvest Moon.

[sub]Hmm.. Maybe I should?[/sub]

No, I've heard about the company Zygna and their scammy ways. I wouldn't play Farmville unless someone gave me money to do it. Even then, I'd be hesitant.

For about an hour, got bored and then was flooded with notifications and such.
Facebook games generally suck.

If I wanted to play VirtuaFarmer I'd buy Harvest Moon.
Or be a real farmer by starting a vegetable plot.

My first decreee of joining Facebook: Block everything containing the word "Farmville" and every possible link to it. Also, fuck Mafia Wars, Fishville and all those other things as well.

Never saw the appeal. I have friends that are addicted to it and for some reason facebook seems to think I give a damn about them raising a virtual barn.
