If I'm forced to watch it in the same way I was forced to watch Finding-F*cking-Nemo in high school over and over and over again, then I will.

I would go on to explain why that is, but I that's a whole different thread and I don't want to steer this one off course.
The big difference is that Pixar can actually make a good film, while Dreamworks just throws in as many obvious pop-culture references as the writers think are funny.
That's not even what I'm talking about. Back when I was in high school a few years ago, the only movie that was allowed to be shown during days where nothing was going on was Finding Nemo. All because some Christian tart felt offended by the love scene in Excalibur. I have nothing against other Christians, being one myself, but this girl was an idiot who ruined the fun of watching PG-13 films in school for everyone. Even got the teacher showing the film fired over it. Now, the story is she "stepped down," but we all know that's option B.

The third film looked terrible so i'm not going to watch it (i don't think it's going to matter), this one looks okay so i'll watch it on SKY.

Meh. If I see it, I see it. If not, I don't care.

The first one was good. The second was alright. The third sucked. The fourth...well...I can only imagine the pattern will keep going.

I'd rather use rusty scissors on my eyes. At least the pain would me momentary and I'd be saved from any future Shrek shit.

I didn't see the third cause the second one was terrible. Also, Movie Bob said it was awful, and I tend to agree with him (except that I thought Blind Side was alright).

Why do I always have to love, hate, or not care with enthusiasm? Aren't there more complicated gradients of opinion possible?

I probably see it but I won't go to the cinema or anything - just watch it when my sister gets it on DVD (which she will). I thought the first two were pretty damn good but the third one felt a bit bloated and scraping the barrel.

Where's the "I used to love Shrek but now they've just sucked all that is fun about it out of the property's urethra" option? Seriously, I used to love Shrek but now I don't like it. Where's the opyion for that?
And NO I will not be seeing 4ever After. (such a horrible name)

Didn't care for the first, loved the second, didn't see the third, and I feel like I'm too old for the 4th, so probably not.

Why are we forced to either say "I'm seeing it" or "I hate the SERIES"

Where is the option for people who liked the first one, but think the series should have died by the end of number 2 at the LATEST

Ouch. I hate when one person with a big mouth ruins things for everyone. Finding Nemo is great, though I imagine it gets tiresome if it's the only thing you're allowed to watch.

I'm tired of it. The first one was okay but the others. Meh. Now they're clearly just trying to make money, rather than make something original and different.

There was a movie about Shriek's Fist? I didn't know Dreamworks where that desperate.
You do not want to see the movie about Shriek's fist, it's disgusting.

OT: I don't want to watch it and I may even try to ovoid it.

I'm pretty sure we watched other movies, outside of my Film as Literature class (pure awesome, btw), but I can't tell anymore. It's all a big, blue blur.
