I'm not sure how the question is meant. I mean the people of Earth cause a great deal of suffering and we spend much of our time on this forum discussing our ever falling faith in humanity.

Barely a thread goes by I don't see someone claiming to lose their remaining faith in humanity.

So if this thread is the people of Earth versus games than I would expect games to win.

If it's a comparison of the enjoyment of games versus enjoyment of the spectacle of Earth's natural wonders than I would expect the poll to be decided by how many nature lovers we have.

I can't imagine that the question is; "Would you rather the Earth existed or games existed?" because anyone with half a rain would realise that games cannot exist without Earth, so must vote accordingly.

If it's simply a measure of which gives me more enjoyment, and I'm going to assume it is, than games is my answer.

I remember staring at the sights in Oblivion and thinking "man, this looks better than the real world". Games are more or less flawless, the earth isn't. So games all the way.

Earth.

Duh.

I mean, videogames are nice, but Earth is...sort of essential.

Plus, no videogame yet has beat a sunset.
You obviously haven't played Myst 4: Revelation then.

Heh, I was a tiebreaker. Making it Earth - 145 to Video Games 144

I say Earth, because you know, we need it to live.

What the hell sort of question is that? Why would you ask a child that?

I voted videogames, just because if you could live properly in videogames it would be awesome, whereas Earth gets dull without the release of things like videogames.

Of course, ideally I would say something like the DC Universe, and I have SUPERPOWERS!

I chose video games but after reading everyone elses well thought out and rational answers I kind of regret it. =[

Videogames... they are entertaining and an escape from reality while being out in the real world on Earth reminds me how stupid people really are... Maybe if Satan was here, Earth would be more fun. :/

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that choosing Games would mean I have to play them in Space or on a planet from a Videogame

*Thinks about it*

Earth.
it has all sorts of stuff, like Ramune drinks and Pineapples.

At first glance, they looked equally appealing to me, but... There are very few good games as of late, and even in general, 90% of videogames are either crap or not suited for my particular tastes. But Earth in this context means primaily nature, and i enjoy much more than 10% of landscapes, views, and vegetation. Without videogames there wouldn't be Ratchet or Teams' Fortresses - but without Earth, there wouldn't be cats or industries they're based off of.

It's fun how oh-so-many nihilistic d-bags vote "videogames" out of spite. Makes me lose my faith in humanity (irony very much intended).

It will need to be big space stations though, there won't be only room needed for a few billion people to live, but also for farming grounds and forests and whatever else is needed to support life on the space-stations forever.
You realize that would take decades to build, right? That whole idea is simply impossible with our current tech...

Now, terra-forming Mars would work...
