What, no love for the Atari Mario Bros.?

My favorit is definitely Mario Bros. but I played the arcade.

If I have to pick one, I have to go with Super Mario World. It's the only one in the series I've played to 100% multiple times. Sacrifixing Yoshi never gets old.

O__O you Monster!! I loved riding Yoshi....my childhood just died...

*Sobs* Poor yoshi!!

the funny thing about this is, it's mandatory to let Yoshi fall to his death at least once to get a 100% ending.

Haha that's exactly what I was thinking, I remember that one. And that is why I pick Super Mario World. As great as SMB 3 was it was held back by the 8-bit technology. SMW inclusion of a consistant overword map full of secrets and being able to save your game, as well overall smoother gameplay and enhanced features like cape flying & Yoshi easily seals the deal for me.
