its actually the cheapest costume you can make. Get some handmedowns that are too big for you and rip up some old clothes and youre golden. Plus, you can say you're making a statement.

... what? dont give me that look. Its better then teens going out in those slutty witch outfits that teaches them its cool to wear as little as possible as soon as possible.

Due to lack of costume time, I'm going with my Arthur Dent from last year, but I am working on a Silent Bob for next year and my friend said he'd be Jay.
