3D Realms co-founder George Broussard recently dropped a hint on his Twitter that Duke Nukem Forever may just be close to release. Do you think it will be released in the 2010 year? Will it live up to the hype?

I don't really care. But maybe this means that Episode 3 will be finished too. (some day, eventually)

I stopped caring sometime around 2005. At this point it's just another shooter to me.

Never played the first one and it's just a meme to me. I'm indifferent whether it ever hits the shelves.

I don't really care, plus I don't think there is any hype surrounding the game since it is more famous for being seriously, seriously delayed than being good.

I would like for it to finally be finished so we can get over it and move on. Also, it would be great to play with Duke again.

It'll be postponed indefinitely just before the 'release date' and then never be released.

They need to release a trailer so I'll believe that it's true. Otherwise it's 3D Realms procrastination again. *blatter lips* Blblblblblblblbl!

I wish it would be done already, not matter how shitty and unfinished it is.
I mean I love games too much to let this little one go down in history as the most laughable delay in history. If it releases in a year or 2 then it's place as "longest awaited game ever" could be easily taken over by HL2:Ep3 or Diablo 3 in several years.

Who cares? Even if it is finished, it'll just be another mediocre shooter, and we have enough of them anyway.

Don't really care. Even if it would be finished it would be most likely a very bad game that would only sell well because it's DNF after all, a game you would buy and never unpack, just so you can have it on your shelf as sort of a badge.

I'd also be disappointed if it didn't come out in big cardboard box, on 5-6 3 1/2-inch floppy's with collectioner edition consisting of 10 5 1/4-inch inch diskettes.

At this point they could release pretty much anything under the name of Duke Nukem Forever and it'd probably make 18 mints no matter what it's like...but I still don't think it will be released this year anyway.

I don't know if it's finished as I'm not in a position where I'm told things like this. I just go by news sites.

I would guess that it's almost complete, if not complete, though. I can't see it not being playable after so long.
