I like the heat. Feels relaxing. If its cold, I am always tensed up even if I am not shivering. Plus, heat just feels good.

Cold. Live in the north of Scotland so I'm acclimatised to cooler temperatures. Also, you can put a fire on when it's cold and snuggle up in front of it :)
Plus I feel like my brain is melting and I can't think when it's over 23C.

At time of writing i'm way too hot...

I'd rather be cold 'cuz i don't feel like i'm choking just from breathing if it's cold (and yes, i've opened my window, but there's not a single breeze outside). I'm looking forward to the winter. I spend most my time in my room anyway so then i'll have an excuse to curl up under my blanket.

I'm pining for winter as I'm typing this. Fuck summer, give me -30 degrees Celcius. I have a really warm coat, scarf and knitted wool socks, I'll live. At the present moment I'm in my underwear, sitting directly in front of a fan. I still want to tear my skin off just to take away some insulation.

You can always put more clothes on when it gets chilly.

You can't always take clothes off if it's too hot, you'll run out of clothes fairly fast, plus if it's too hot, taking off clothes isn't going to do much anyway.
And... my post exactly.

When your cold you can always put on another layer of clothes. But if your hot once you get down to the skin thats it.

Too cold, of course. You can always put more clothes, jumpers, jackets and duvets on. You can't do anything when you're too hot. If i could take off my skin, i would. And not all of us have air conditioning units or big cool fans. But i'd like to think most of us have some sort of clothing or blanket to smother ourselves in.

It's better if it's too cold, then you can just wear more clothes and warmer stuff. When it's too hot, it is only so far possible to take off stuff, and I dislike the feeling of too much heat.

I live in Michigan. Im used to the cold. In cold weather, you can put on layers. In hot weather, theres only so much you can take off.

too cold

being that cold is the absence of heat, heat can be added to cold, but cold can not be added to heat, and heat is harder to take from a body than give it to the same body

thats why.

Too cold. When I'm too hot I get a headache and I get irritable and annoyed. I like the cold

It depends. In my case, it's usually way easier to warm up than to cool down. But I can think of situations where that isn't so. I voted for better too cold because that most agrees with my personal experience, not because I think it's fundamentally better.

I'd prefer too hot, even though I can't stand things being too hot.
But it's better than being so cold that everything hurts, I hate that.

It is far, far preferable to be in a situation where the environ is way too cold, for a very sensible reason: You can put on more damn clothes when it's cold. In polite society, there is a limit to how many layers of clothing you can realistically remove outside the privacy of your home, but you can wear as many extra layers of clothing as you damn well please.

People who complain about the cold just need to get themselves sweaters and adapt.

Too cold.
You can always pile on more clothes. But there's a limit to how many clothes you can take off before getting arrested.

I would much rather freeze to death than dehydrate in any way. When you freeze your body simply stops moving, and you don't feel anything. However, when you dehydrate your bodily functions slowly start shutting down, you become delirious, and it's incredibly painful.

If that didn't give you my answer to this poll, then I don't know what will. To clarify, I live in Canada, so I'm used to the cold, so I pick too cold every time. Also your can bundle up to make youself warmer in the cold, but when it gets too hot you can't exactly take off your skin to cool down now can you?

I prefer cold weather as I naturally run hotter than normal. If it gets too hot, I feel sick/
