If you could, in fact, go back in time, and change one little thing from the past, not being able to return in any way to the future, your name being erased from history, and never getting the chance to see if what you did was indeed helpful to human kind in any way, Would you or would you not do it? If so, What would you change and what would you think the outcome would be?

I wouldn't, I think the world is the least fucked up it could possibly be.

I'd be taking a big risk in putting my trust in Teddy Roosevelt, but really, I'd be taking a big risk putting my trust in anyone from that time period. I can only hope that after being provided with what is essentially The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Teddy could be trusted to get the information to the right people and make the world a better place.

Loved it, actually. I just went with the most obvious answer to the question; I'm not that naive to think his death would fix everything, it would just cause different problems altogether.

It'd take you forever to print it, so you could travel back in time, leave it in your desk, so your past self travels back in time to give it to Teddy, and, in theory, have a life afterwards.

Also I'd go back in time, and tell myself to work out constantly, study constantly, and to not spend their entire life eating junk food, watching anime, playing video games, and touching them self.

There are so many flaws with that trope's first paragraph, chiefest of which is it takes time travel seriously.

Besides, the OP says you can't come back or even see what happens, so to argue that a time paradox would ensue isn't really our concern at that point.

But anyway, saving JFK would definitely have interesting consequences. Good answer.
