OK, for my forensics class, we have to write a forensic story. In mine, I have the killer use a drug to immobilize his victims before he brutally murders them. Problem is, I have no idea why kind of drug does that.

Here's what I'm looking for:
-It has to be injectable (from a syringe/needle).
-It has to be able to cause paralysis all over the body.
-The person should still be conscious after being injected with said drug.

The above is what I'm looking for, but if such a drug doesn't exist, can you give me the next closest thing? Thanks.
Use whatever they used on Jack Bauer last month.

Yes it's a rare sight indeed however be careful not to make much noise or you'll scare it away.

LMAO...

Right. "Forensics class"...

It's okay, bud, I'm here for you.

Anywho, you'll want to make friends with the anti-venom industry because they have plentiful specimens of-- you guessed it-- actual working venoms. If you're dedicated, you will intern at such a place or make it part of your profession. Snakes, Spiders, and other such creatures have fast-acting paralyzing poisons, and your hypodermic needle will be your "fang". Your prey will be painfully aware of everything happening to him during the ritual you've prepared.

Make sure to chop the parts into small, individually wrapped pieces; bonus points for adding dissolving agents to the mix and/or removing teeth/hands/feet separately. Dispose appropriately. Your goal of course, is that it's never found, but be sure that if it is, the evidence will be unrecognizable.

Go with Christ, bro.
ROFLMAO! No seriously, this is for my forensics class. I'm seventeen and I've dealt with the 114th enough times already, and none of it was even my fault. I'd hate to see what would happen if I was actually doing something of that sort. I've dealt with them enough due to my neo-Nazi father and drug dealing neighbors. Thanks though!

P.S.-I lack the parts to be called bro. ^.-

I, for the life of me, cannot find the name of this drug, but in the TV show "Dexter" he uses some sort of syringe thing to paralyze his victims instantly, i knwo it exists because in the show it is used by vets to pacify large animals in the zoo, so if you can find it, good luck to you.

Sorry, I don't watch 24. I'll ask someone who does though.

the "zombie powder" is called tetrodotoxin. and it has all of your desired effects, you get it from puffer fish. by the way. (they are those fish that see a predator and swell up to many times their size, while growing poisonous spines)

I've heard of prosititutes being given large amounts of heroin in order to render them practically paralectic, in order to perform illegel abortions on them.

This is probably an easy drug to do, as it is easily identifible.

As an OR tech, we use epidurals in surgeries, it doesnt paralyze as it numbs the body, but that is very tricky to do, so your killer would have to be an anestesiologist to do that lol.
I actually have the killer as some sort of doctor that's a religious nut and is killing off people who are 'cheating death' and denying the Lord of what he deserves.(something along the line of that) So I guess that makes my plot more truthful I guess.
He ends off killing a kid that was suffering from some sort of sickness and became healthy again w/ meds, a old man who's life was saved w/ a kidney transplant and a woman who had a heart transplant.

There's some drug that starts with an S...solol--something but I forget what. I think it's a powder mixed into a drink or else injected after dissolving in water. It inhibits the formation of new memories and causes the victim to be easily sugestible. Afterwards they'll have amnesia about the time during which the drug affected them.

Why no,I'm not a L&O: SVU fan; why do you ask?

Tetrodotoxin is what I would recommend, also paralysis can be caused by snake venom, cholinesterase has the effect of losing muscle control and is found in snake venom. Nerve Agents are worth looking up too and also other Neurotoxins, most cause paralysis and death, but Tetrodotoxin is the most effective.

Cobra poison. There are numerous snake venoms that can cause it but as far as i know, the cobra venom is the one that works the fastest.

also check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paralytic_shellfish_poisoning

But it's not as effective since it takes time for the poison to act.

Maybe I am missing something here but if you inject someone with something that induces full body paralysis then you don't really need to kill them do you? They will suffocate when the muscles controlling their diaphragm stop working along with the other muscles in their body.

Full body paralysis drugs are used in surgery and are separate to the drugs that block the pain of surgery. The patient is required to have assisted means for breathing whilst being operated on.

If however the fact that the victim can't breath after the injection doesn't matter then any of the following will do fine.

Rapacuronium
Mivacurium
Atracurium
Doxacurium
Cisatracurium
Vecuronium
Pipecuronium
Rocuronium
Tubocurarine

All of them apart from the last two will induce paralysis within a minute and all of them last for more than an hour.
