The fencing foil next to me for a weapon. Break the tip and those things are WICKED dangerous. As for shield, probably break the top off of my flimsy night-stand.
My flintlock pistols for attack (they can't shoot anything, but could probably smash in a skull easily), for defence...maybe my wardrobe door, more likely nothing as then I could duel wield my pistols and not be weighed down by some giant improvised shield.
Well my neighbor manufactures the national hand guards for the AR-15 model assult rifle, because of this he has many 'test subjects' for modification so i'll ask to see some of his stock.
And there is a guy who is a real history buff and has many different types of body armor.

Thats bull I have guns in this room and bullets op. Fine, I'll play it your way. For my shield I would use my laptop and tie it to my arm with the power cord and my headphones wire. Offensively I would have to go with my metal box filled with papers I could tie my laptops ethernet cord around the handle and use it as a flail/close quarters weapon.
As a shield I will use my surfboard and as a weapon I will use my, I dunno pen maybe I don't really have any potential deadly weapons also why is someone attacking Ireland?
My defense is a sweatshirt. My offense is a swiss army knife. Why do I choose these? Because nothing's blocking bullets, so I may as well go with something light and comfortable; and because I'm not getting close enough to beat someone to death, so at least with the knife I can cut wood or something. And make a pickaxe. And mine for ore. AND THEN FIGHT ZOMBIES AND SKELETONS
for a start weapon 'till I get something passable, I have a rather sharp pocket knife ( I don't worry about reach, I'll be sticking to the shadows, stabbing, stealing weapons as I go.) as for defence, well, I'm good at hiding and sneaking.
as a re-enactor i have several pieces of kit in my room that were not originally designed to be weapons/shields but actually would work very well. if this is Ok then i would take my replica shield and replica mace.
if this is not ok the i guess a chair and the large bottle of beer i have knocking around somewhere on the side.
either way i guess i am praying that they don't have weaponary much more advanced than 11th century europe.

Gonna go with pots and pans style armor. As for weapons, several knives, a staple gun, and a bokken.
Hey, screw you buddy, it's not like this war is taking place everywhere in my house accept in my room. If I have something that was made as a weapon close by, I'd be a fucking retard not to take it. That being said, I'd take my Bo as a weapon and tape together some pieces of wood and metal I find laying around as a shield. I'd also take my guitar and play songs to people in exchange for my life. Then kill em. Or not, whatever I think will work out better in the long run.
