I'm in Canada, so this is more or less impossible. I'll just sit back and let the US army take care of it.

On a more (or perhaps less) serious note, the metal pencil sharpener has a nice handle and can be a good blunt weapon. I can take out a piece of wood from my book case for use as a shield.

For me, hmmm I suppose I would have to go with my Glock 27 for defense - you can't be a good small concealable backup pistol. As for offense, well I was hoping to have a better weapon in the room but it seems I left them all locked up in the safe, I would have to go with the .45 auto Kimber 1911.

I suppose since the house has a very open layout one of the safes is technically in the room with me, so I could just go raid that.

oddly enough i have a sword and shield in my room but there just decoration not helpful and you said no to that so id say an ironing board seems to be a good shield and as a weapon ill the lead pipe i found in my yard this morning

Well then, I have a small table I could probably use as a shield, and... nothing for attack that's any better than a pillow. Unless my pokewalker suddenly decides it can actually release pokemon into the real world (hey, if it's got to the stage that I have to defend myself using items in my room, then the world is strange enough for that to happen). Then I have togetic to save me!

The door from my roommates mini fridge, cause its a bit bigger and thicker looking then mine is. And the steel piping they have sitting in our room cause they need to fix some water lines in the basement and i siad it was cool to rest it in our room.

Well, seeing as I live in America I haveto wonder who would want to invade us??
As Yahtzee said in his Splinter Cell: Conviction review, the US is mainly a HUGE huge hole that you through money into faster than you earn it.

But if war did break out in the US,

I'd break down my closet into a shield.

And I'd repourpose my room's AC into a makeshift gun.
Anyone trys to get to me *BOOM* a can of soda, or a glass cup to the head.
