Hmm... seemed a bit weird. I got Drac the first go, then read the instructions and realised research is supposed to be used so got 10 on the second try.

I could work out the 'intended' answer but it seemed like some really had either two answers or no answer.

Namely, as far as my research can find:
Jackman played Van Helsing, but I cant find any reference to him playing a vampire.
The Kappa and the Jersey Devil both eat live meat, but neither suck blood (livers and pet dogs respectively).
The "safe" town is surrounded by running water.

Although I dont want to change my time by retaking the test to double check the wording of the questions, so maybe I misread slightly.

If we go by castlevania he wouldn't be eligible for the list considering hes a dhampir not a vampire.
Bah! He can still turn into a bat and has pretty much all the powers of Dracula, I'm still going to call him a vampire. Whatever, he is of a vampire.

[a href="http://www.escapistmagazine.com/quizzes/result/135.132-Dracula"][br] Dracula[/a][br][a href="/quizzes/view/135-What-Kind-of-Vampire-Are-You"]Take this quiz[/a]

Yes! The original Dracula novel is my favorite vampire mythos. I have yet to see a movie that gets it right -- Dracula was never injured by the sun in that book, just weakened to the level of a normal human, and vampires in that book could do some really cool stuff, like stretch out their bodies to get through cracks in doors. Not turn into a mist. Stretch their bodies thin to get through doors. And the list goes on; that book is apparently in a vampire mythos of its own, completely separate from any spin-offs. Also, the book was much more violent than anything I've seen to do with the character; I'd love to see an R-rated film that actually follows the book.

Those U.S. geography questions were hard, in as much as I'd never heard of the towns involved. However, if you know something about the states they are in, it's not too bad.

I got 9/10 by the way, without using the internet to look up answers.

Not bad considering I only knew one answer, and if medic wasn't my favorite tf2 class I might not have known that one
I got saved by Dr. Mcninja on that question. He a Phlegm Botanist.

Felt like such a tool with my result.. Then again, Count Chockula is WAAAAAAY cooler than Edward f***ing Cullen. Douchebag...

Is there any way we could get the answers for the quiz? I've no interest in trying to fix my score, don't worry, I'm just intrigued as to where the questions came from, what they were referencing etc.
Call it professional curiosity.

7/10... I was surprised considering how hard/random the questions were...
Same. That's an okay one I guess.

I got Dracula. Of course I did, because as every Deadpool fan knows, ALL vampires are named Dracula.

Looks like I'm stuck with Cedric Diggory for a badge.

Like others have mentioned, I was rather surprised by this quiz. Almost literally every question required some kind of trivial knowledge unassociated with the topic at-hand. Even if you know a lot about vampires, you're bound to get screwed by the other trivial requirements. I had to make what I thought were educated guesses on nearly every question, but it turns out I was wrong on nearly every question.

It also doesn't help that, as someone else mentioned, the bulk of my familiarity with vampires comes from Vampire the Masquerade, particularly the Bloodlines game. Their vampires are a little different than the traditional folklore; running water is fine, garlic is fine, wooden stakes to the heart aren't lethal, etc. Guess that tripped me up as well.

Next time maybe there should be some questions that are actually about vampires, rather than actors resume's, American geography or restaurants I've never even heard of.

Not surprisingly, this is just another Vampire Trivia (not a particularly Good one at that), and NOT a "learn what chances you have at surviving as a neonate"(which are pretty Low FYI) the way it's elaborate introduction seemed to boast.

People...people! A place called "The Stinking Rose" is clearly going to serve garlic!

I understand not knowing the Arizona question...but it is a desert state.

The other...assed out for me and I AM American.

Hahaha, I love the reactions of people who got Edward, that's hilarious. It might not have been so funny if I'd ended up with a sparkly badge too, but I got Dracula with 9/10, so I'm content.
Bit of a shame David from The Lost Boys isn't one of the results.

This quiz is very misleading, it appears to be a personality quiz when really it's a knowledge quiz. Not to thrilled but nothing I can do.

Huh. I guessed pretty hard minus the Yuma and scientist ones.
