Racism of all forms is wrong. The thing is that when a black man is racist towards a white man, its insulting. When a white man is racist towards a black man, the black mans school gets underfunded, he is denied from a job he is qualified to do which would support his family, and there kids start getting treated as second class citizens. That's why people freak out more over white people being racist, because when they are racist its a lot easier for them to be discriminatory.

Well considering whites were racist and done horrible things towards:

Native Americans
Blacks
Asians
Latinos
Middle easterners
Hindus
Jews
and even their own women.

I can see why being ignorant towards them is acceptable.

The problem with saying this is that it makes all those wih white pigmented skin responsible, even if they were born decades or centuries laer, even if they have absolutely nothing to do wih how certain groups were treated and don't have a racist bone in their body.

Any type of xenophobia is simply wrong, but just because you either suffered personally at the hands of racists or those of your bloodline did does not excuse you in the slightes to turn around and do the same. Period.

Because there's history to remember. We treated black people like shit, so we should feel ashamed to do it now that we've changed our ways. Anything they do is just fair play, within reason of course. On the overall, I don't think racism against whites is all that bad. I dont think its justified as some people think, but I don't think its to the point where were a downtrodden people =P

Its just something we all should keep in perspective.. Is it really necessary to make jokes at someone elses expense? Even if its not about race. Why offend someone when you can make an equally hilarious, non-pointed, joke?

A great man said "when someone tells a joke about someone else and they both laugh, the world will be a better place". Thats my ethos on this topic, no one has any justification to insult anyone because of race.

Im basically asking for insults here because of my first paragraph but i am not racist in the slightest. If you want to insult me because you are super paranoid about racism like all of todays people then go ahead. I dont want to offend anyone and everything i say is in no way meant to be offencive. EDIT: I agree that we are not downtrodden, groups today still persicute other races and i find this far worse than the occasional jibe in my direction. I just want these jibes to work both ways.

Back in the days before world-powers, people were enslaving each other left right and centre, regardless of specific race, just on the terms of "I don't know em, meh", Hell, pretty much every tribe in Africa was enslaving each other, and half of them helped the whites enslave other africans in return for payment. #

Don't get me wrong, slavery is bad, but racism on either side can't be justified by what was essentially, 400 years of organised crime. The reason it still holds so much sway is because it was documented.

Honestly, i know white to black racism in broad happens in the south, but I live in LA county and from my personal experience, whites are the most discriminated against here. At my school growing up we had blacks, latinos, and asians, and most of them fuckin' hated the white man for some reason. And if, at any point, you talk shit back, even in a non racial manner, you where accused of being racist. I had to kick a lot of multicolored ass in middle school, surprisingly though, it was only once a black guy, which is the only race i think would have a legit reason. it was mostly koreans. I don't know what the fuck was up with that.

Depends what you mean by black racism. If you're talking about comedians going with the whole "white men can't dance/jump/rap" angle, then I can't agree with you (Especially as a fan of racially charged humor). If you're talking about black people being able to use the word "******", then we're on a middle ground, since I am of the opinion that no word should ever be taboo.

If, however you are referring to radical black nationalists like Khalid Mohammed or the Nation of Islam, I do agree that they are indeed racist but don't get as much flak from the mainstream media because of the history of their people and the chance that those who call out the racism of sucj groups might be called a racist in retaliation (especially if white).

So yeah, it's plenty fucked up.

Whats rediculous is when the whole slavery thing (which i do hold as the greatest crime ever commited between to groups of people ) is held up today.

I personally have never owned a slave or opressed anyone in my life and i really do not appriciate someone saying "Do you know what my people have suffered through at your hands?" (something thats actually happened to me...)

Racism is a horrible crime and should be punished...what we define as racism via PC today however is absurd...
