On Halo: Reach when the lag is really bad, or when I'm having an off day. Sometimes lag can be fun, when attacking people (rather ineffectively) from two separate places at once.
I generally only ragequit when it is obvious someone is hacking. Headshot doesn't kill you? Bullshit.
Anyway, I'm generally pretty tenacious while playing online. I'll get frustrated and quit in singleplayer but that usually happens after hours of no progress or if something happens and I lose my save.

However, since my time playing and getting better, I no longer kill myself so many times in World, and I finally killed Boss by myself with melee in NG+. :D And Boss is HAAAAARRRRRRDDDDD on NG+. I feel very proud of myself for the solo fight.

My character is melee all over the place. Flamelurker has kicked my ass many many many many many many times. Especially now that I'm on New Game+.

The Tower of Latria is also a good cause for a ragequit. I play with the normal brightness setting to make the game more interesting. And the Tower of Latria is a dark place. Many many times I've fallen through the floor because I was sprinting and didn't see the hole. Also the towers above the Latria Swamp. I've dodge rolled myself off the towers too many times to count, trying to evade those damn gargoyles.

Yeeaahhhh, I rage-quit from time to time, I'm ashamed to say. Mainly, it's in multiplayer, when I'm getting whooped so bad that it almost feels like someone's using, like, voodoo magic or something to kick my ass. Lot of times, it's just because there aren't too many players on my side, or there are a ton of snipers or knifers. GOD, I hate knifers, though I can't criticize the effectiveness of the tactic when a guy's not paying too much attention. Eventually, I just get so pissed that I drop out in anger.

I hardly ever rage quit, like if it were a shooter I'll see what I can do to bring up my individual/team score and go until the end. It's not too bad, but other people tend to just leave early on and leave me and whoever else decides to stay. Raging isn't really my thing, can't really remember the last time I got really angry at a game. The only time I would rage is because of the people in the game/match.
Playing NHL 11 yesterday. Detroit at Calgary for the Western Confrence finals. Calgary scored 5 goals on 7 shots. I threw my controller and kicked a full soup can clean across the room. NHL 11 is one of my favorite games but goddamn can it piss me off. Team mate AI in season mode is horrible while the other team plays almost flawlessly.

Ragequitting in public games of most shooters is healthy. If you're having a bad few rounds and you're getting mad over a videogame, you really SHOULD quit and cool down for a while.
I've never rage quit game and I've passed star wars force unleashed on Sith Master, black ops on vet, every halo on legendary. I generally play everything on the hardest difficultly since normal is just too easy. Heck, I bought the ps3 just for demon's souls since everyone kept going on about how hard it was... and they were right... mostly. The only reason why its hard is because the game takes the approach that you are not ominipotent nor omniscient. So if theres a trap you'll most likely get hit by it and if theres something super strong its going to kill you.
I used to rage quit in League of Legends whenever my team was becoming moronic. Now I just play through the entire match since theres usually going to be a idiot on your team anyways.
I don't really rage quit but I will stop playing a game for a few hours if i feel im getting frustrated and then come back when i feel more relaxed which i guess is the same thing just without all the swearing and throwing the remotes n such

In multiplayer FPS's, if my team ditches and I'm the only guy left against like six others.
And in the first God of War. I don't know how I retained my sanity long enough to get past those couple infallibly irritating puzzles. And the freakin tower o' swords thing in Hades. Hated that stupid thing.

Sometimes in online games, mostly when my teammates are retarded. I hate being the MVP and still be on the loosing team because they dont know how to play the game.
