There are many things in this world unknown to me. like why genocides happen the pure amount of money being wasting in the white house our dwindling resources the soon threat of mass ,death, disease, world war, pollution, were do we reach the end of our journey. is our trillion year line of prosperous living about to be cut short by the visceral grip we have put on the earth with our primal way of life.

tell me this does the human race have a future?

The Human Race ends at the Finnish Line.

So you may want to go check out Finland and see.

As it stands, the world now is far better off (concerning people) than the world was 10 years ago, 50 years ago, 100 years ago, 200 years ago, 1000 years ago, or even 2000 years ago.

But we have 24 hour news now, so most people think we are doing terrible.

Does the human race have a future?

Of course not. However, our alien overlords certainly do have a future here!

Trillion year line of prosperous living?

Daaaaaaaamn, man, what planet do you live on? Your race must be incredibly evolved! You've obviously mastered interstellar internet use. Where are you from? Typhon?

... Seriously, dude, we haven't been around for that long, and although we don't have it horrible, I'd call it anything but prosperous. We could do better.

To answer your question, yes, we do have a future. Humans have a huge amount of potential. I have hope that we'll keep tapping into that in the future instead of just stagnating and dying out.

True stuff.
You might want to buy stuff even more valuable than gold, though.
Like steel or something.
Stuff that's actually useful.

They outclass any human.
Pfff they've got nothing on my cyborgs.

But I like to belive the human race ended long ago and were actually hooked up to a matrix, if you try hard enough you can jump over buildings. Go on try it.

Copper. The price has quintupled over the past few years, thanks to China buying a crapload of it. Hence massive pipe recycling programs, theft of copper statues, and the 1p coin actually being worth about 1.2p.

I belive that in 50 years the only livable places will be weary far north or weary far south. (as in weary long south on the southern hemisphere. All in the midle will be desert, and by that I mean: most of europe, exept scandenavia. usa, most of asia, of of southern america exept for the farthest south, and almost all of africa, again exept for the south.
This gives the human race scandenavia, 50% of russia, canada, alaska, south africa, south of chile and argentina and parts of oseania.

The fact that these places cannot room all the humans in the world. There will likely be war for teretory that will end with the human race in an state where we will not be strong enough to exist on. So humans die and in 50 000 years from the all that will be left to prove our existense are our toilets and sinks. (That is not a joke, those things are the last remnants of human construction that will wear down into selfdestruction)

At the rate we're populating we definitely have a future. Whether its a bright one or a grim one is a different story.

A temporary future, of course. But just like every other race of animal to have been on the top of the food chain in the past, we will die out in time.

No way! So 10 One Pence coins are worth 12 Pence?! Awesome!

*rushes off to count pennies in the piggy bank*

OT: Of course we have a future. Until the sun eventually dies and expands/ explodes, and wipes us out and everything we have ever achieved, built, written or painted. Everything. All gone. Unless we expand into other solar systems, and inhabit planets there. which would be pretty cool.

It's got to be 1 and 2p coins made before '92, when they dropped the copper content (new coins are mostly nickel I think, makes 'em magnetic) It's possible to make some money from melting them down for copper (technically it's legal, but most copper merchants here won't touch it, so you have to go to France) but it's not really worth it.
