Rape is when someone has had sexual intercourse with someone while not under the right state of mind. Thats why its still rape if you have sex with a drunk chick and she calls the cops later, even if she said yes while drunk.

One of the people in my high school got arrested and charged with rape cause this is what he did.

That's bullshit and is not the case where I live. Obviously having sex with someone who's unconcious is illegal but I'm assuming (As it was a party) that both parties were drunk but able to make a decision, even a bad one.

Yeah, I've read them. I also read the comic after it. I understand that some people interpereted it that way but I still think that that comic alone does not depict rape.

But yes, you can make a joke about anything. Someone on this very site once said something that has stuck with me. It's a warped version of the assassin's motto in the Assassin's Creed franchise:

"Nothing is sacred, everything is hilarious".

That sums up my view on the subject quite nicely.

I am politically incorrect to the core and proud of it. As a result of this, I have to be honest and say that this is the only thing in this thread that has actually made me laugh. And yes, I would laugh if I was there and someone did it, then I would run like hell. Assuming I wasn't laughing too hard to stand.

Rape is an act of violence perpetrated against a person or persons by another person or persons. It has become a common tool of war in many places, (probably has been since ever, but gets more publicity now).

... now, after stating the obvious

Jokes are by definition supposed to be funny. There are a multitude of really nasty facts about humanity, but it has never stopped a well constructed joke about one of those facts from being funny, even hilarious.

Good comedians walk a fine line between acceptable taste, bad taste ... and the REALLY funny shit.

Yes, but you need a good target audience. Obviously a rape victim or neo-nazis... er... I mean, neo-feminists won't find it funny, but people who aren't will find it funny if they have a sense of humor. Just like how cancer jokes are funny, but obviously not to a cancer survivor or the family of a cancer victim. Or how black/white/hispanic/asian jokes are funny to the people who don't belong to that particular ethnic group. Although, if you understand that IT'S A FUCKING JOKE, it can be funny to EVERYONE! My friend is black, I tell him racist black jokes, he laughs. I and a couple of my friends are fat (like 260+ pounds) but we make fat jokes about each other. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and my grandma died of it, yet I still laughed at the breast cancer episode of South Park!

It all boils down to my argument over nudity and obscene TV programming, if you don't agree, change the damned channel. If you find that it is morally offensive to you, don't look! This can be lifted right off the TV and slapped on this. If you find rape jokes offensive, don't read the web comic! The jokes obviously weren't aimed at you! I don't go watch Fox News because I am not Republican, the amount of Republican based news stories and general opinions are vomit inducing to me. I hate what MTV has become, so I don't watch it. I hate the douchebags of Jersey Shore, so I don't watch the damned show. I don't sit there and subject myself to it in order to find something deeper to hate on top of the overall retardedness of the cast. I don't go on the internet spewing hate over it and make a big public spectac..... wait a minute. DAMMIT!
