Comeplete Lyrics:

[Dan Bull:]
This is a letter to Bethesda in which I beg you
To stick together a new Elder Scrolls and you flipping better
Otherwise I'm gonna pester you forever
Well, except when I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas this November
But please, we need another Elder Scrolls
If I don't get a hold of one I'll go out of control
Sure, Fallout was a whole different level and it was incredible
But it didn't have the visual elegance and mystic mythic elements
That lifted it through excellence and into sheer perfectionism
Transcendence isn't something I'd expect sitting next to computers
But what you presented to us is beautious
Playing Oblivion made me oblivious
To my surroundings, how can a game be this intricate
That after a thousand hours of play
I'm still enthralled with it all, now to this day?
I've found an escape from the Imperial Prison of every day living
So take me to Oblivion again, take me to Oblivion again
Take me to Oblivion

[Baron Samedi:]

Thanks Dan, I couldn't have put it better
Get it together, Bethesda, or we'll keep penning you letters
Being a vault dweller was special, but Wet was forgettable
So I'll never settle for anything less than an Elder Scrolls
Consumed by Blood Moon and swallowed by Morrowind
When I slip into Oblivion, I'm instantly lost in it
Escape the modern concrete office monotony
When I pop that DVD-ROM into the slot and unlock my dreams
Grab my magic hat, my daggers and the Wabbajack
Pack them in a saddle bag, and travel through these savage lands
It's mad depressing how obsessed I was getting
With checking out every chest to collect every set of weapons
I stand on the planet's edge and gaze at the hazy seas
It's crazy how ones and zeros behave so amazingly
Take me from these rainy streets, please
Take me to Oblivion again, please take me to Oblivion

The SNES Shadowrun was great, but I think the genesis one was even better(definitely closer to the tabletop RPG and with the ability to choose different characters).

On topic, I'd love to see a new Elder Scrolls myself, I've played all 4 primary in the series(though wasn't there a supplementary one made for a portable system around Morrowind?) and probably put 150 hours into Morrowind and at least 50 in Oblivion. Bethesda can do great things with immersion which is something that the fantasy genre really needs more of.

I'm more of a Morrowind fan myself, but in the spirit of not causing a flamewar, I'd be perfectly happy with just another Oblivion game. Hopefully they'd be able to take the series to a brand new place though, that would be awesome.

Its amazing those two managed to pull that off without sounding cheesy or stupid.

Glad to see I'm not the only who prefers Oblivion to Fallout. Obsidian better stay the hell away.

The only rap song I'll ever enjoy...
Yeah Fallout 3 and New Vegas are nice but I miss Tamriel. Morrowind and Oblivion were two of my favorite games in the universe. Still with all the modders out there at least the community has kept me interested over the long stretch of time since 2006.

Plus I don't know why they keep trying with all the post apocalyptic games. I mean, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl was already made. Why are they trying so hard to get second place?

For me, both games rocked, Morrowind had mor to explore, but the combat system from oblivion is much better. Hopefully they'll make a new TES soon. What happened with the Skyrim rumor?

Didn't Bethesda already say they were working on TES5, and it was going to be an MMO?

I love it how people say Morrowind was better.

I remember playing it when I was younger, but it wasn't THAT amazing as people put it, and I don't have a copy around to try and playing it again to see if it really was that much better then Oblivion.

If anyone could write a coherent post as to why, I would like to hear on the matter, and no, saying that Oblivion lacked Pikes or other long weapons isn't a valid reason enough.

I'm thinking its about time for a transformation for the series. Like how morrowind controlled and looked incredibly different from oblivion but the fallout series has had the same controls and visuals as oblivion. I mean the visuals don't need to be improved they just need changing, a new style perhaps.

You know, I'd be totally fine with it if you just put Morrowind in an engine that made it playable by todays standards... come on! Just give me something!

Can we get these guys to rap about making a KOTOR 3 while they are at it? A new elder scrolls and a new kotor would make me explode with joy. I need a new game where I can build a necromancer.
KoTOR3 dosent sound so bad ^^ well... dont think they will put out a 3rd Kotor simply because there's the upcoming mmo :/

[Insert comment about how Morrowind was better than Oblivion here.]
Whilst this is true, I'm really not as excited as most folks are about this game serious.

I'm not into rap but that was pretty cool. Bethesda should totally make a new Elder Scrolls just because of that song... Also because i want a new one too. I preferred Morrowind to Oblivion as well both are epic games.
I'm into rap but that wasn't really cool :p

Cute idea, but lyrics, rhyme and especially voices were pretty crap :\

That said, definitely on board with the message - bring on the next ES!

I actually preferred Morrowind [http://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Morrowind-Game-Year-Pc/dp/B0000CNUUP/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1289257270&sr=1-1] but-
Imma let you finish, Andy. But Oblivion is the best Elder Scrolls game of ALL TIME!

On topic, here is the proof that rap is often done for a good cause. I'm actually not rushing Bethesda on this anymore, though. They really need to move away from the Gamebryo engine.
i can agree to this about the engine. please. time to get off of that and upgrade! Bethesda i know you can do better, if you apply your games to a better engine, i guarantee you will be that much better and closer to winning my fanboyism.
don't worry, Bethesda always makes a new engine between every Elder Scrolls game. it's one of thier things.
