Since it's built around the original version of Santa (punishes naughty kids as opposed to rewarding good ones), this looks hilarious and hopefully will make it over to the States and teach people the true meaning of the holidays.

This is going to be awesome. I just got back from FInland during the summer, and i might go again this winter for christmas! I went to the underground santa town, too, which was pretty eerie. Santa didnt look evil though, he just looked bored, lol

I saw this at Fantastic Fest. It was near the top of my list of favorite films this year, and I'd highly encourage everyone to see it.

I really gotta see this. Too bad they kinda messed up one of the subtitles from Finnish to English. When asking what wolves would do this, the dude replies "isot ja vittumaiset" and is translated "big and nasty ones". The thing is, vittu is a curse word and because of Finnish language, you can make it into all sorts of funny versions, vittumaiset being kinda like nasty. Nasty just lacks the edge.

I do wonder though; In Finland does the English guy have Finnish Subtitles? Or are they expected to know.

Because that was probably the most clear and legible english I have ever heard from a foreign film. Usually they butcher it.

This looks....most interesting and hopefully kind of funny. Maaay see it in cinema's, but if not then i'll surely watch it on DVD.

My friends saw this at a festival last month and they said it was hilarious and creepy. I can't wait to see for myself. I know it's a strange concept but as much as I love Christmas and everything cheesy that comes with it, I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of a different take on the folklore about Santa. It kind of reminds me of Hogfather a little, them both being wild beasts and all.
