The rarest thing I have is probably a Wario Ware: Touched! demo cartridge from a special pre-launch DS package that was given away to a limited number of Europeans.

I have a copy of Beyond Good and Evil where the sound is broken, does that count?

I have played every game in my collection and at least 50% of those are pre-owned so I don't own rare games.
I was tempted to get a Dreamcast I saw in Gamestation along with some games going cheap. Then I remembered that I don't have a very large room and gave up on the idea.

Rarities? Among the few I still have, I count two among those I keep just for novelty. Herzog Zwei for the Genesis and Maniac Mansion for the NES.

the rarest PS2 title in my opinion is Zone of the Enders: The second runner

i spent more than 18 months tracking it down (not over actively looking .. it was really hard to find though)

I had a copy of that old game for the NES with Yoshi and the cookies (it was a puzzle game) but my mom sold it in a garage sale.

In a "not quite so rare" note, how much would it cost me to buy an original SNES and super mario RPG? I have great memories of the game, but I could only play at a friends house and, well, never got around to beating it. I'm also tired of waiting for it to come out on the virtual console.

it's already out on the virtual console, bought about the time it was released.


OT: If it counts then I managed to pick up both of the Digital Devil Sagas. The second one was still in it's original packaging, stayed that way till I beat the first one because dammit I wanted to know what the hell was going on.
