Red Faction: Guerrilla, 9/10 great fun but kinda short so waste your time on the guerrilla actions and don't just do the story mode.

Bioshock - 9/10 - genuinely a great game. Immersion incarnate, the sense of desperation is instilled from the moment you sink into rapture and see your glimpses of a splice killing a civilian and it drives you forward through the rest of the game. Big Daddy fights, whether you kill them with and elaborate trap or try and take them out with a barrage of bullets it's epic.

Misses out on a ten due since I found most of the plasmids useful (essentially I only ever used Lightning, telekinesis and incinerate which all sound really powerful but you don't even have to buy them and given them automatically through the story) and hacking (although a clever addition) but done poorly. Even really easy to hack or you balls it up in like half a second.

EDIT: Not only that, but the 1 - 10 rating system, without the dots. How do you justify a game gets 7 but not a 6? I've noticed in a lot of reviews there are very rare cases that games get below a 7.

Below 7 by today standards are awfull games. Reviewers used to use scores as an average, or justify better the scores. Now most of them are so scared of offending fans that everything above average gets a 8 or 9, decent is a 7 and if a game gets something below that, it is truly bad (and still, there are a lot of people that were willing to jump up to defend Haze when it came out).

I will give inFamous a 8/10. The game is great, although it has its issues and glitches...

My last game purchased, hmm DDO. Have been playing for over 2.5 years now. Rate it very high.

Never realy got into console gaming as I couldn't justify the added costs of system and games (to my wife lol) when I already was gaming on the PC.

Pretty much a streamlined version of Sims 2 with better graphics and a few new features. Great game.

Project Gotham Racing 4 was the last game I've bought. With what I have done, I think it deserves 3 stars or a 7/10 (depending on your personal choice of scale.)

This sounds sad but the last game I bought was Mercenaries 2.

I found it on sale for like, $15 and I bought it just to put in cheat codes and blow stuff up. I give it a 7/10 because causing all that mayhem is a lot of fun, but the story... zzzzzz.

Mine would be Prototype I'd give it 9/10, its just some much fun body surfing in it but the thing I would change would make the main story longer.
