Who said anything about looking at them? I was all set to chuckle at nerds discussing boobs, not expecting there to actually be any to gaze upon. That's what the rest of the internet is for.Corpse XxX said:But in all seriousness, you dont go on the Escapist in the first place to look at boobs..
There are other websites more suitable for that![]()
same here, although i think the whole caravan cathing on fire may have been real. i like the special's in Bolivia ect because they arent fake.Darktau said:Top gear was obviously staged, what did i do? kept watching![]()
Yea it's called Operation Repo and it airs on Tru TV. It is about repossessing cars. They are always finding some weird thing or getting in fights. It would be good if it wasn't scripted.Corpse XxX said:Eh? that REPO show that is on Discovery is scripted? That show where they take peoples stuff that they dont pay for?Corum1134 said:I was sort of ticked off when I found out that Operation Repo is scripted AND on True TV.
They're everywhere.Jewrean said:No, Australian. Are all of those shows in Sweden too?Queen Michael said:Would you happen to be Swedish?Jewrean said:lol... can I add Wrestling and Boxing?
The Bachelor... obviously. Farmer needs a wife. Um... Big Brother...
Top Gear is epic tho <3Darktau said:Top gear was obviously staged, what did i do? kept watching![]()
Oh, I didn't hear about him being sick. And yeah, I meant Danny Green. I somehow found the article by searching Andrew Green, weird.RaphaelsRedemption said:Andrew Green? Do you mean Danny Green, boxing legend?thedeathscythe said:Boxing matches.
Just kidding, but seriously, there was a clip of this boxer, I think his name was Andrew Green or something, I can't remember, and he was supposed to fight this guy and the guy took like 4 punches, blocked a punch, got missed, and then took a dive. The slow-mo shows it all, he wasn't even hit and then he went down for the count. So maybe that.
EDIT: It was Andrew Green against Paul Briggs. I had heard that in the past, yeah, people had thrown fights, but this one was recent, and so it makes me think that non pro boxing matches still are thrown often enough.
That fight went wrong because the opponent was sick and needed the money. At least, that's the most popular theory. Perth attendants were NOT pleased that they got 29 seconds of viewing time...
Danny Green was pissed off too, so if it was faked, he didn't know about it.
please don't tell me the same thing about worlds dumbestCorum1134 said:I was sort of ticked off when I found out that Operation Repo is scripted AND on True TV.
Trust me, Bear Grylls is no swindler. He's a properly double hard bastard and has done some uber-amazing stuff in the past. He spent years in the SAS (which I hasten to add are *the* hardest mofo's in any armed forces). He does go out and do proper survival expeditions etc, but it's often impractical to film them properly so he has to try and recreate similar scenes especially for the camera, often there was just no need to make the whole crew suffer for it... I always thought he was pretty open with the fact that he is presenting an entertainment show and not actually documenting his expeditions... He is also a really nice guy (I met him a few years ago). He isn't as acive as he used to be because of his family etc, but as far as being a survival expert goes, he really is one of the best in the world...mazzjammin22 said:D'awww....
When I found out Man vs. Wild was fake I was sort of disappointed. Granted, he still does all that awesome shit on camera, but Bear Gryllis just is cool anymore now that I found out he stays in hotels when the camera's off.
