What's The Fall about? I've never heard of that one.

The Fall is about an epic bandit story told by an injured stuntsman to a girl with a broken arm. The story is fun, but also deals with some heavy issues and has it's (very very) sad moments, and the cinematography is some of the best I've ever seen. I watched REC yesterday for the first time it was pretty good, not really scary but still entertaining. Also if you haven't already seen it then watch district 9.

OT: Kick-Ass. Not the best film I've ever seen (although it's one of them) but the most fun I've ever had watching something.

Being completely unbiased about it, yeah, it's not really a "good" film. I personally enjoyed it, and that is what the OP was asking for.

Four Lions. It's about a few Muslim Brits training to blow themselves up. And guess what? It's a COMEDY. A masterfully executed parody of all this Mujihadeen business, and the ending is actually pretty uncomfortable to watch, but when it's over, you realize that it's actually the funniest part of the film, an ironic statement delivered in such a way your mind will be blown into your friend's popcorn. And a certain scene where someone explains to someone else how he got 10+ gallons of bleach will shake you for more laughs than any other whole movie did in the past 3 years, and if it doesn't you might not go see it to save up for oil to put on your joints you fucking robot!

That's already on my To-See list since it's by Chris Morris. Brass Eye already won me over.

Awww leave 'em alone you It's a free country-esque forum. Personally I find it refreshing to see somebody liking Twilight as opposed to the usual hatred it spurns. I'm not really into the whole vampire scene but if they like it then good on 'em ^_^

I utterly adored, loved and almost became obnoxious enough to cheer in the cinema (but stopped at the last second and just laughed) when I saw the A-Team. Never in recent months have I see a movie that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. Not to be taken seriously and slightly off balance with the realism but if I cared I wouldn't be watching it now

Yeah fair dos and I'm not trying to bully anyone or make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Watch Pulp Fiction. You might want to turn down the volume so as not to disturb the wee ones (this movie is about 90% F-Bombs) but it's an incredibly fun movie.

Also, Samuel L. 'Motherfucking' Jackson.

Seen it and loved it. A truly excellent movie with not a second of wasted film, quite rare that.

and if you haven't already ,as a guy sugested up there watch shawshank redemtion(one of the best films ever and an easy watch)p.s. best movie of last year district 9

Seen all of those and they were all awesome. The ear scene in Reservoir Dogs made me sick when I first watched it almost a decade ago. Since then the internet has robbed me of any semblance of innocence.

Awesome, your review made it sound sad. As a chronically melancholic kinda guy this sounds like the perfect movie to push me even further into the depths of depression. I'll go check netflix.

And while we're on the subject, The Infidel is another comedy with strong undertones about a plain Muslim Brit (this theme seems to be "in" this year) who finds out that he's adopted and that his real parents were actually [text missing], and this is a real problem cos his son is getting married to a girl whose stepfather is a massive **** and a very strong believer in the Muslim faith. He tries to change enough for some dick to let him see his father, all the while tidying up the whole Muslim part of Muslim Brit to get the massive **** stepfather to bless his stepdaughter's and our hero's son's marrige, with an ending that will blow your mind into your friends popcorn (again) in the same strength as will Four Lions.

One film everyone should see is the Fifth element (Chris Tucker is hilarious in it) and I've already been beaten to it but, hot fuzz! It makes me laugh everytime I watch it. Simon Pegg is a genius.

Have you seen Omid Djalili's sketch show or stand up? I would recommend checking it out if you like the movie The Infidel.
