Nice song. Aside from the 80s/early 90s rap from the Likes of NWA (and subsequent stuff from its individual members) I've not been massively fond of rap. Thematically and lyrically exceptional, Astronautalis is one of my favourite things to grace my iPod. And he's a rapper! That's pretty odd considering my iPod is saturated with ska, punk and hardcore bands. Seriously, I urge you to check him out; I'll be surprised if there's not at least one song you like.

EDIT: I've just been checking up some info about POS and, besides being a great rapper, he's in a number of pretty good punk bands. Most notably Wharf Rats, who have Chris 2 from Anti-Flag and Wade Macneil from Alexisonfire on bass and guitar respectively. Crazy shit.

I don't really know much about rap, but I know what I like and my favourite rapper is The RZA.
As well as his lyrical content, I really like the way he raps, to me it sounds very precise and for the lack of a better way of describing it, "clipped". He also seems to gain momentum as his verses go on.
He's a really good producer too and I've yet to hear a piece of music that's had his touch that I don't like.

Chamillionaire, in his early work 2005 and backward, is a lyrical genious.
Then there's Killa Kyleon, who managed to kill Biggie's Who Shot Ya instrumental.
That's just Texas really, sad to say the ATL hasn't spat out a legend since T.I. and truth be told he isn't that good.
Tech N9ne is getting better all the time, and I've heard good things about Z-ro but haven't been able to get any albums above ground. Jim Jones is a decent New York rapper, Bussa Move and his collab with Joel Ortiz in Nissan Honda Chevy was pretty good, but I haven't listened to him in a while.

And yeah yeah we know rappers have no talent etc. but please Escapists, have the same respect you had for the pony threads and COD threads and all the other threads the collective hivemind of the forum hates and don't post if you don't like it.
