Making good games takes time. This is why Blizzard takes a stance of the release date being "When it's ready to be released."

I hope they delay it till next fall to be honestly, simply because the release date was way too short to make a good game.

At first I was like that, but then I thought the same thing you did and went;

Seriously, thank you for moving this back. I am so tired of developers squeezing their games in on the tight holiday schedule, it helps no one and only serves to strain wallets. When will publishers get it through their thick skulls that it's okay to release a game during the summer?

I'm very glad it's getting delayed. I don't want a rushed out piece of you get the idea.

If getting TEH BEST GAEM EVAR means that I have to wait a while, I think it's worth it.

I just hope the slimy evil tentacles that make up EA don't corrupt the saints that are BioWare.
Oh dear, is the fanboy within me showing?

Obviously, they needed more time on the reporter-punching minigame.

Let Bioware take all the time they need. I can wait.

Delay means polish. If DA2 had been delayed maybe they wouldn't have had to use the same maps a few dozen times. EA loves to rush, but after the mixed bag that was DA2, I think BW will stop giving a shit about the deadlines EA gives.

EA: So this Skyrim thing? Big?
Everyone: Fucking huge.
EA: Likely to get game of the year from every publication
Everyone: Without a doubt.
EA: OK! We'll release it 2012

Disapointed... as this is the main game on my radar atm, i've never been an elderscroll fan, but, nothing i can do about it, and, hopefully it's for more polish and maybe even some content. *shrug* could end up being a good thing. Can put off upgrading my PC for a bit more i guess...

This is a good thing, I guess.

If nothing else, it means that I'll get more time with The Old Republic before I have to give another BioWare game my attention.

There goes it's chances for 2011 game of the year. I'm glad they are taking their time with it though. It seemed like it was coming out too soon.

I have never, ever, gotten mad about a delayed release, and I'm not going to start now. Bioware is trying to build the best possible conclusion to their trilogy, and it should end on the strongest note possible.

Hey are you starting College this fall as well?

OT: I was expecting this. ME 2 had the same deal after all. Can't say I'm upset. Take all the time you NEED Bioware......and do make it the best game ever made in the history of all time will you?

I'm sorry, but I'm calling it:

This is because Skyrim's sales would have blown ME3 out of the water.
Yep. I know I was planning to delay buying it for a couple of months because Skyrim is my November game. It was suicide announcing it three days before Skyrim.

As annoyed as I am by this, I'm not nearly as annoyed as I thought I would be.

Does this really surprise anyone?

Before they said "December 2011" which is like release date terminology for "we would really like to have this out before Christmas 2011, but it probably won't happen."

**shrug**

I'll just have to replay ME2 again.
