We got this far and no Master of Magic?
How is it that Master of Orion got a sequel and not it's companion game?
And this game had
everything. A ridiculous variety of troop types - both magical and mundane, heroes and soldiers who level up, artifact creation, spell research, a dozen different races, a "dark world" accessible via magic gates, tactical combat, city management, and unique wizard creation. And yet, nobody since then has managed to pull it all together into one game again. It's like a cross between Heroes of Might and Magic and Civilization.
