What do you mean by "same-facing"?NameIsRobertPaulson said:If you wanted "skilled artwork" than why read QC? I love the comic, and I really like Jeph, but he needs to work on his same-facing. Not as bad as Adolf Buckley, but getting there. Just because you improved your art doesn't mean you should stop improving it, Jeph!Queen Michael said:READ BEFORE POSTING
The kind of comic I'm looking for does all of these things:
*Tells some kind of ongoing story.
*Recurring characters.
*It doesn't have to be a humor comic.
*Jokes in themselves aren't a problem, though.
*Skilled artwork.
So yeah, I DON'T want you to recommend me XKCD. (I mean, hey, I already am a fan of it.)
Webcomics I already read include Girl Genius, Jack, Gunnerkrigg Court and, of course, Questionable Content.
OT: Probably GWtB. I think its good, at least.
Actually, while Homestuck is scripted, Hussie has said potential future adventures might well have user inputThe Random One said:HOMESTUCK HOMESTUCK HOMESTUCK HOMESTUCK [http://www.mspaintadventures.com/]
Andrew Hussie is a God of webcomics. Homestuck is the only webcomic so far that has fully used the medium - it includes reader suggestions (well, not any more), flash-based updates with music, frantic gif, a strange parity with a deliberately bad webcomic that's actually drawn by one of its characters, time travel, IM as themainonly form of dialog, and videogames.
If you start reading it and feel it's going nowhere, continue to read until the meteor. (You'll know it.) If after that you still don't like it, then it's probably not for you.
You might want to try Snafu comics. [http://www.snafu-comics.com] There are lots of good ongoing stories there, and most of the artwork is gorgeous (or at least the most recent stuff is).Queen Michael said:READ BEFORE POSTING

Erfworld, Goblins, Keychain of Creation, Schlock Mercenary, and Commissioned. (Though it is worth noting that there are several different storylines in Commissioned and many of them keep getting derailed or simply come to a halt.) Serious Emotional Disturbanes is a comic by someone I know, but you might not like it.Queen Michael said:READ BEFORE POSTING

Freak Angels is excellent, I absolutely love that comic (don't get enough comics set in Britain IMO).Queen Michael said:Not that long, if you only count the ones I haven't read. Freak Angels isn't one of those. I love it.
Second this. Hanna is Not a Boy's Name is really great.AugustFall said:Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name seems to fit your requirements

Actually, I was introduced to it the same day that I created this thread. It was the comic that inspired me to do so; I wanted to get more comics like it.AugustFall said:Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name seems to fit your requirements
