I wasn't going to post since it was apparent that you love most of the anime that I don't yet I've got to comment on the fact that someone compared FMA: Brotherhood to Bleach. I mean, seriously? Other than, "Oooh the fights are flashy" I really don't see a comparison except for the silly moments in the episodes they put in to take a break from the action and plot. In my opinion Bleach is very similar to DBZ with a hero who appears to have no weakness or limit in power (also simple minded) and keeps introducing villains who are stronger than the last even though each villain claims to be the strongest. I'd almost throw Naruto in that category except its saving grace (up until some time after the start of the Shippuden series) it actually had villains with motive, posed a threat and stuck around for a while. My example (and favorite character): Itachi, although his role as a 'villain' is questionable; and yes I know what Madara said but I don't know if I completely believe the guy. I'm waiting for another plot reveal in the Uchiha story line. Naruto also had a ton of characters more interesting than its protagonist who were just as capable if not more than the hero in a fight. My example: Shikimaru, one of the greatest badass characters of all time.
As for your list it seems you prefer wacky, flashy and non serious anime that does not have a deep or dark story with the exception being FMA. Even though I consider Cowboy Bebop a great classic and Ghost in the Shell: SAC grew on me, I can see how the Law & Order style of story telling can be hard to keep viewers. Both series have a bunch of loosely or unconnected episodes (the purpose in those isn't the plot but heavy characterization) that will not have a plot until about the last 3 episodes of the season.
I may be repeating a few things from earlier posts but my recommendations for you are:
Black Cat
Gad Guard (I may watch this again myself)
Samurai 7
Darker than Black
Black Blood Brothers (only 13 episodes, sorry)
Guyver
Murder Princess (6 episodes but very entertaining, you'd enjoy the action)
Tenjo Tenge (I'll admit I became bored when the flashbacks started)
Ben Ten (1st Series! Not an anime but one of the finest american cartoons of recent times)
Zoids a new century
Zoids a chaotic century
hmmm...maybe Zoids Genesis(I didn't care for it but you may like it)
Rurouni Kenshin (sorry if misspelled)
Devil May Cry
Elemental Gelade
maybe...Xam'd, check it out
Tsubasa Chronicles
xxxholic (not action but its style pulled me in even though I wanted to dislike it. I didn't like Yuko in Tsubasa so thought I'd hate xxxholic since she is the main character, I was wrong)
Just to throw a few names out there that may or may not meet your criteria
Gunslinger Girl (1st season)
Burst Angel (it's flashy, if nothing else)
Yu Yu Hakusho (like Bleach, teenagers who love to fight are killing demons)
Xenosaga
Birdy the Mighty
One Piece (surprised you're not watching this already, most Bleach & Naruto fans are into this)
If I may suggest a few movies:
Apple Seed
Apple Seed Ex Machina (Favorite!)
Karas 1 & 2 (in part one the plot has some holes but the 2nd part ties everything together)
Origin
Princess Mononoke
Also, I can understand your boredom of FMA: Brotherhood. It isn't a new story but an animated version of the manga. That's why the plot differs at a critical point. Read the manga, it has a much better pacing with the story.
