Does "murdered" in this case mean innocent NPCs, or all people who have been killed at all?

See, video games don't make us violent! I have a hard time imagining that 132million would be killed in real life if Live went offline for two weeks...
Poor wolves though, they deserve it less than those bloody mountain lions...
That's a fantastic point actually.

Next time there's a huge scare about some kid going on a rampage who once played "Barney's Hide and Seek" or some other ultraviolent game, the "games are not evil" crowd should compare the numbers of people killed in-game to the numbers of people killed in real life. And the controversy would just melt away like butter in a hot frying pan.

(No, I have no idea where that similie came from either.)

Oh ho, but in truth the numbers are even higher than that!
You've got to remember that they can't count the people who play offline, without connection to Xbox Live/PSN.

Great we are now forth titled.... "Wolf Hitler." But they ask for it killing my horse.
Mein Pferd?

(I'm sorry, but for some reason the idea of someone advocating genocide because of a horse just gave me the image of someone writing a book with that title....)

132 million...

I'm no historian, but I have a feeling that's more than the entire population of the USA at that point in time, or at least the Western USA.
according to my sources, the poulation of the USA in 1911 was 93,863,000

meaning that they shipped a further 29 million over especially

(sorry if this is late coming, theres a lot of posts and dont have the energy to read through all of them)

Haven't played that far yet, but doesn't part of the game take place in Mexico? Maybe that's the extra 29 million.

Sheesh I guess I need to pop all the innocent people I see on the way to missions anymore...

Time to pick up the slack my fellow players!

XD I want to know how many players were apart of those deaths XD Because I'm pretty sure if I played, I would have more deaths of my self than people I killed.

Course I might do good considering I've actually won a few games of slaughter...

If I am the average WoW player, and knowing that now I dont play that much anymore, still I can kill like 500 humans in my average 2h day of gaming. Now multiply this by 11 million players and you get 5.5 billion people dead and a total of 22 million hours playing (2500 years), all in one day.

132 mil is just the number of murders committed in game. I've only got maybe 5 murders so far (trying to play honorably), but I've racked up a few thousand kills. Really want to know how many kills there have been in total in the last two weeks.
