Regarding pony hate

If I have to choose between "why are everypony" and "y r every1" or other forms of degenerated English, I'll gladly pick the insertion of "pony" where it doesn't belong.

That said, I did personally stop saying things like "everypony" about a week or two after finishing season 1. It's cute and all when you're talking to other fans, but I don't see much use for it in regular conversation.

It's a show. You watch a show and you like the show. That is all. why i hate it:

animation looks cheap and like something done on flash (i have a thing against animations studios being cheap when shows like invader zim are animated in beautiful way and get canceled)

The show in the 80s was to sell us toys but everyone knew it was for small girls while this one exist just to leach off nostalgia.

1. The animation is pretty good and sleek. But I guess it's just a matter of preferences.
2. Lol, no. I can tell you that most of the people that enjoy Friendship is Magic thinks that the older generations are utter shit. We don't speak of it. IT WAS TERRIBLE.
3. Character design, that's about preferences again. But the stories are well written, don't you say anything else. They're interesting, which is fucking hard to come by in modern cartoons.
4. They turn boys into damn sissies? That comment is bad, and you should feel bad. Looking at your avatar, I'm gonna make this rebuttal:
You know what? I hate Halo because it turns boys into annoying morons.

1. Still a very lame animation style that looks like flash.

That's just the shortest descriptions I could come up with without feeling I'd skipped something important, and I didn't even go into the whole Elements of Harmony thing. By American cartoon standards they have quite a lot to their personalities. (Heck, off the top of my head I couldn't come up with as much for the fricking Ninja Turtles.)

Im sorry but its a little hard to take any adult seriously who watches this show and acts like its a show for adults. Sure, I watch some kids shows. On a daily basis Im watching Danny Phantom and Penguins of Madagascar, but Im not wearing it proudly on my sleeve like a badge because Im a grown ass man, and like I said, Im also a furry, so Im used to going to cons and seeing sexual deviants, manchildren, social outcasts, and generally disturbing things (thank god for alcohol).

Everyone knows video games are just toys for little kids. Honestly I think it's pretty obvious that teens/adults who play video games are just sad, lonely, developmentally retarded shut-ins. Imagine if you devoted all that time and energy to something important, like football! Big difference is that the show isn't an entire artistic medium, there are games out there designed specifically for children as there are also cartoons designed for adults.

That's not my argument. It was probably a bit too subtle, but I wasn't comparing games to MLP. I was comparing the dismissive, generalising attitude some people have towards games to the dismissive, generalising attitude some people have towards MLP.

Basically, I think it's a very hypocritical attitude to condemn someone's hobby/interest based on sweeping generalisations when that's exactly what we as gamers try so hard to put a stop to.

Why is it invalid? He's not even cosplaying a character from the current show. That's a pony from G3 he's cosplaying. MLP:FiM is G4 and the different generations have nothing to do with each other except being about ponies.
