They never added any image for such a thing, the whole idea was dropped... in fact most editions of fallout 2 had removed kids, which led to some dumbass dialogues and quests involving invisible children. A mod was released that brought them back in, adding other quests related to children into the mix too. There was no image put in for "child killer" as the award was never put in the game.

That's interesting because I remember quite clearly getting such a reputation once. I've got to install it and check this out right now.

I'm a little surprised the artist didn't think he could come up with anything less horrific. I came up with what I thought was a pretty good one in a minute's brainstorming: how about Vault Boy painting another into a line of baby rattles on his sleeve, say? Still horrific, of course, but not quite so explicit.

What the hell was the guy thinking who REQUESTED this.

As the article says, he didn't he requested an image to go along with the childkiller reputation. This was one of the products.

I agree with his original idea. How else to you make a "Child Killer" icon?

I do love how he said "I can't believe I drew this" when looking at it. You did man, you did.

I actually think it's pretty good. The subject matter of the drawing is negative, but the director asked for a very negative image by requesting a "Child Killer" icon.

Good call pulling it perhaps, but if the perk (or whatever) is still in the game (I don't remember if it is, I doubt it though), it should have had that image.

Nope, it's definatly in the game. I got it once by burst firing an assault rifle without checking my background. What I can't remember is if it has any associated image. It might be the only reputation that doesn't have one at all, or it may reuse the villian karma image.

It's a pretty simple job to disable the boolian that makes children unkillable in FO3. Once that's done it'd be pathetically easy to set up a reputation perk trigger to kick off with it to give the Childkiller reputation. So, no, not a clever modder, just a deranged one.
