You can't really sacrifice something you never had, can you? It's more like you decided to leave a party to IM your friends. Except all your friends are only little pictures with names, and if the moderators feel you've been insensitive or not understanding enough to the little pictures you can never see them again, ever, and you're castrated.

Nope, I wouldn't, the Escapist is only a part-time activity, I'm on it for maybe 15 minutes a day, and even that can bore me.

There will be other classes you know. Not sure what the school system is like in Canada but in the US the only times I was in one classroom with people were grades 5 and below.

Which begs the question of how old you are, but I understand if you don't feel like answering that question. Point is, don't reject yourself from society because of a few people. Thats just stupid.

Nope, anomie, a Durkheimian theory that if someone is isolated from society, they develop a sense of normlessness resulting in either devience or suicide. The most likely to be efffected are single teenage males living in the city who are well educated.
