The only relationship I managed to make work was one when I was about 6, its also my longest lasting relationship at 8 months.

When I was 11 I had another and when I kissed her, well it was more an attempted kiss, I ended up headbutting her, whilst the majority of my class surrounded us.. for some reason.

Then when I was 14 I had another where I was nothing but a clingy, needy person. It didn't last long.

Now I'm single and enjoy it and don't plan to have another relationship for at least forever.

The breakup I find mildly entertaining. It's after I get back from visiting family, it is 6 in the morning and she calls me, ON HER CELL PHONE, and says we need to talk. AT this point I say "This isn't working, we're done." I hang up the phone, because I want to sleep. Then I get a call a half hour later from work telling me they need me to come in on my day off...

That was a fun day (^_^)

There's a girl I knew as a friend for about 2 years before I realized that I really, really liked her. At first, this was fine, because she showed every sign of actually reciprocating these feelings--hell, she practically asked me to ask her out (and not via flirting and insinuations, but in sentence form). A week after she did this, I did ask her out. She's been doing her best to ignore me ever since, and I STILL have no idea where I fucked up. Anyway strange story of how we got together we where heading out to a concert to see nightwish (RAWK!) and her and another of my friends where slagging 3rd friend for her getting with her first boyfriend and age 19, it was just good natured ribbing but she turned to my now girlfriend and said "Your just jealous you dont have a boyfriend" taken aback my girlfriend looked around confused pointed at me and shouted "PAUL'S MY BOYFRIEND!" I made a face that resembled this , and here we are 2 years later still a couple...good times.

I have had sex with a few people, but as for actual relationships, they all get capsised by my overwhelming misanthropy.

I doubt I'll ever actually meet someone who'll want to have a proper relationship with me, much less have children, but to be honest, I've got more important things in life to do then fritter my life away looking for 'the one'.

We've noticed that you're not exactly 'Mr. Popularity', some days, but we've managed to deal with it. You usually make up for it somehow, although I haven't noticed you bringing any donuts around, lately.

On-topic:

Well, I've been chasing girls since I was 13, and unlike Rand-m, I knew exactly what sex was at 15, and I haven't stopped shagging since, although I was monogamous for almost 5 years, between 18 and 23. That said, at the ripe old age of 31, I've more-or-less lost track of the number of women I've slept with, but I've only had 5 relationships that were longer than 3 months, 1 of which was 5 years, and the current one has been 6 years. Sadly, I've probably slept with a much larger number of women than most people would consider reasonable, or sane.

I'm not actually going to give you the number, amd it's not Wilt Chamberlain crazy high, but it's way higher than most people would every admit to. And yes, I'll admit that I've been a horrendous, unspeakable slut. I also am not inferring that Rand-m is somehow bad, for not knowing about sex at 15, I'm suggesting that I was an overly-precocious and well-read 11 year old, and I got to put it all into practice at 15.

It only lasted a month before my parents found out, since my Dad manage to come home 3 hours early from work. Well, right now the person I'm with lives around 150 miles away. That's fine for me though- I really care about them and am not a very sexually driven person to begin with.

So this girl and I had been going out for about six months when summer break rolled around. Being over two hours drive from each other, it put an understandable strain on the relationship. After a few phone arguments, she sent me a make up email - I repeat, a MAKEUP email - that began with her saying how she wanted to beat and mangle my spineless, cowardly, excuse-ridden body to a pulp and then bury me ten feet under. Then she asked if we could start over, using our eight-month anniversary as a fresh start.

Yeah. That wasn't gonna happen. I called her a day or two later and broke up with her. I'll keep it short, it was ugly. Real nasty phone call.

When we got back to college, I was hoping that we could at least remain friends. One night when I was watching TV with her roomies (also my friends), she came back, took one look at me, turned around, and stormed out. The next day, it turned out that she was trying to level a bogus harassment charge at me. I managed to prove that it was absolute bull, and the Dean slapped a restraining order against the two of us. Fine with me! I'm still friends with her old roomies (they had a falling out and she moved out in a rage), but MAN, that was a mess and a half.

At least I'm still good friends with my other ex.
