Yes, I'm a dick for pointing out the guy makes himself sound like a drunk and unprofessional. I only described what he made himself sound like. You're calling him a liar, yet you think I should apologize. Ironic.
If this was for humor, then the title fails miserably. If something's called "Reliable Source," why would anyone expect humor, (other than previous experience with his writing)? If this place can't get the titles of their articles accurate, I don't see how that is a good thing either.
If one of their writers is known for making things up, I would think they'd want to make sure new readers know not to take him seriously, which they didn't. That's another thing in the "not good" category.
I did point out that the main goal of the his writing is to get people to this site. I made no judgment on his job performance in that regard. I think it's obvious he's not to my taste or expectations. For brevity's sake, I didn't mention that I haven't read many articles on this site. I come for Unskippable. I started with the assumption that the articles with serious sounding titles would be serious articles. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt that they have some good reporting and amusing videos. Is the sole purpose of this site comedy? Should I never expect any accurate reporting here?
Oi, well, at least you're leaving this alone, because you obviously don't get it. I'll explain it, just because you at least need to hear it.
1. He probably is a drunk, unprofessional and a liar. That's not what needs to be apologized for. You need to understand that this site isn't going to bend to your expectations and that when something that has a clearly visible joke in it is misunderstood by you, it doesn't mean that it, and everyone who gets the joke is wrong.
That was your malfunction here. And if it was just a mistake we'd be done with it, but now you're getting defensive over a lost cause, and I'm one to attack a weak fortress.
2. The title is the bloody joke. I... I can't believe you wouldn't get that off the bat. Sometimes it takes me halfway in before I realize he's made up a good deal, if not all of his story, and then I remember the title. It's... gah, I can't remember the word. I want to say ironic, but I know that's not it; it's funny because he calls it "Reliable Source" when it clearly isn't. Or at least, that's the joke, whether you find it funny or not.
Even if you don't find it funny, you shouldn't be so thick as to
not get it.
3. Yes. This site is mostly for humor, you... lurk moar. Lurk. Moar. That's all I can say. There's

some news reposting on this site. It can be found the "Latest News" section of the site's front page, below the add on the left of the screen.
The articles are either for humor, opinion, a story, or any combination of the three. If you wanted everything on this site to be hard hitting journalism than go to cracked.com or something.
But don't go around assuming things are going to be as you expect them and then calling shit on them when they aren't.
I'm not always a dick like this, no, but you are the type of person that needs to be nipped in the bud before you're allowed here anymore.
