Caffeine is an addicting substance (both in the physical and psychological forms), therefore it's only logical to think that you can become addicted to it with too high of an intake.

Yes. Caffeine is a drug, after all. My mom drinks a ton of coffee every morning. When she doesn't, she gets headaches. Withdraw. So, yes.

I have been cutting down on Coke to loose some weight and let me tell ya... I have been getting headaches a lot from the lack of caffeine because I used to drink it like water.

I've been drinking coffee for about 6 years, and I've never had to drink it. Some days I won't, and some days I will, but I don't feel anymore awake if I do or don't.
I am in the same boat with you. I can drink coffee for long periods and then wake up the next day and have no want for it. I also don't get that caffeine kick that people talk about, the same thing goes with energy drinks; they are just another flavoured drink.
