I do replays when a sequel is coming out... and I shouldn't. Fallout 4 would have been much more enjoyable if I hadn't pregamed it with replays of Fallout, 2, 3, and NV. By the time 4 hit I was a little burned out on Fallout gameplay. If it weren't for the added feature of settlement building (which was new) I may not have enjoyed FO 4 as much as I wound up loving it.

That same thing happened to me in the Gamecube era with Baten Kaitos. I played the first game. Really enjoyed it. Then replayed it before Origins came out. To this day I haven't finished Origins.
