I get the impression that Obsidian sucks.
Thank you.

You are one of the few people that doesnt attack Bethesda.....and IMO this isnt really their fault...

OT:
Does this effect the save (after it patches or loads)?

Cant you just delete the patch and deny it?

I mean, being off XBL isnt going to kill your friends...and you can game in peace without worrying about the racists and idiots on your typical FPSDay

Seriously? Obsidian really needs to get their act together when it comes to bug testing. Hell, I haven't had many problems with the game (PC), but the console versions sound terribly buggy. Also, with the lack of console commands you can't fix game breaking bugs yourself either.

I'm not gonna even bother defending them this time, this is ridiculous.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I don't know why they bother patching anything on their Gamebryo engine, you can't polish a turd.

Zing!

OT: And so Honest Hearts is coming out finally? Lovely.

Now I just have to remember not to update until they fix this crap...

It's funny, I haven't had problems with bugs as much as others seem to have with New Vegas, but I seem to be in a slim margin.

EDIT: Yes, and I KNOW you're excited about Skyrim, Bethesda! So am I! But really, get your crap together!!!

This is actually not suprising, as it has been the state of the game since it was released...endlessly buggy and patches breaking the game even more.

Nonetheless I enjoyed the game (maybe not as much as FO3) for the most part even though it was a PITA to play at times due to the bugginess and instability.

I don't care anymore. Got rid of the game after both of my saves crashed. Ridiculous how they released a game like that. These bugs aren't tough to find, they were either rushed or lazy.

Wha...? How? What the...? *facepalm* How? How can you possibly make New Vegas any worse of a bug ridden mess? Unbelievable. I can't even fathom what Bethesda's QA process must be like. This has got to be the most buggy AAA title ever released. I'm flabbergasted.
Their whole QA process consists of one near sighted old man looking at the physical copy of the disc, upon seeing no scratches he says the game is ok to mass produce.

Mark my words, Skyrim will be one nasty ass piece of coded crap. It will look pretty, for the 5 or 6 seconds before it shudders, dies and takes your system down with it.

I can understand bugs within the game world or maybe even random crashes but if the bugs are messing with my save files then that's shame on a developer

One of my all time favorite games and I've been awaiting this DLC since I finished Dead Money (Which I thought was cool because it was based off a movie called The Treasure of The Sierra Madre which was based of The Pardoner Tales and showed what greed can do to the man)but regardless can't we all pull our pants up and wait? I mean Sony users have to wait a week before even getting online again so I am 100% sure we can be patient adults and wait a few more days for one DLC and not insult a company that has been probably working their asses off to get this to the people....anyways the longer we wait the better it may be. So hang in there wanderers. You don't really have any right insulting a company if you buy their games.

"Great, get the day off, settled down in front of the Xbox to play New Vegas and guess what, it freezes. Thanks Bethesda!" wrote a user named Blackivar [http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1183663-the-newest-patch-wont-let-me-load-my-saves/page__view__findpost__p__17561331]. "As with everyone else, the new update has wrecked my game, got the warning about losing content and now it won't load up my past saves - well that was time well spent (assuming you can argue playing games even is time well spent)."
Really? You're taking the day off to play a game that came out like 6 months ago?

OT I still havent had any gamebreaking issues with my xbox360 copy...i refused to apply any patches, don't fix what ain't broke!

Well, won't be getting that patch then. I wasn't a fan since it messed with one of my favorite early game guns (cowboy repeater), so I guess I'll hold off now.

TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUST!

(This text inserted to avoid mod wrath.)

Wasn't the game developed by Obsidian though? Is Bethesda doing the patches or somesuch?
