Keep 'em coming! I don't care if they have squat to do with the games, people are digging these movies and that's what matters. The box office does not lie. They already recouped their budget so there you go.

I personally am gonna watch this nonsense, for I love crazy stupid stuff. It doesn't matter one bit that this amounts to game rape. I don't care. Capcom gets their two hour infomercials and I get Milla Jovovich shooting the shit out of stuff.

This. I can only assume at this point that the movies contain some form of subliminal mind control that turns everyone who sees them into slavering retards who beleive what they are seeing is actually good so as to make them come back for the next one and spend stupid amounts of money on utterly fucking awful movies.

It's the only explaination.

The guy who directed Shaun Of The Dead would be able to make a good Resident Evil Film.

On Topic: Why didn't they ask the fans what they wanted to see when they were making the first movie? Why wait till the fifth movie?

I'm gonna have to ask an odd thing. Being somewhat sociophobic I do have to wait for the DVD but I really have to know so if someone who has seen Resident Evil Afterlife could spare a moment or two to send me a whisper to tell me about Clare Redfield in the movie, I would be very grateful (and note - whisper/PM/not on the board to upset folks with spoilers).

This excites me, but at the same time, isn't pretty much everyone and everything already dead? And they are probably running out of "end of time" titles, Apocalypse, Extinction, Afterlife. This one going to be Rebirth or something?

Uhm, Afterlife will be the 5th "Resident Evil" movie.

Resident Evil: Degeneration was released in 2007. It might not be live action, and it might actually continue the story of the games, but it's still a Resident Evil movie.

While the last two have been quite enjoyable, I think we could stop calling these Resident Evil films.

I still like them, but it seems like everyone working on the film had everything worked out and nearly finished then someone spoke up "uhhh, hey guys.. weren't we making a Resident Evil movie?" and the whole studio goes "OOOHHHHH right... shit" then they all scatter around and bring up all the RE stuff they had filed away and went about copy and pasting Resident Evil names and terms into the script- then decided that it would be passable and called it a day. Not that I don't enjoy these films, though

Am I the only person that thinks this fan feedback thing won't go over well? The lead actress says they want fan feedback and some of the first things out the door are "we want to kill your character off." Not that even the most useful fan feedback won't be reduced to what charcacters and monsters you want to see, but it still seems rude.
