Alright, another of me riddles. I really like this one but it's better suited for actual conservation.

Three guests check into a hotel room. The clerk says the bill is $30, so each guest pays $10. Later the clerk realizes the bill should only be $25. To rectify this, he gives the bellhop $5 to return to the guests. On the way to the room, the bellhop realizes that he cannot divide the money equally. As the guests didn?t know the total of the revised bill, the bellhop decides to just give each guest $1 and keep $2 for himself.

Now that each of the guests have been given $1 back, each has paid $9, bringing the total paid to $27. The bellhop has $2. If the guests originally handed over $30, what happened to the remaining $1?
Classic misdirection. You don't add the bellhop's $2 to the $27, you subtract it. Each guest paid $9, totalling $27 - this is correct. The bellhop's $2 is included in this $27, and therefore the total amount the clerk gets should be $27 minus the bellhop's $2...or $25.

So: $25 (clerk) + $2 (bellhop) + $3 (refunded) = $30 originally paid.

There is no remainder in the problem, The room cost 25 dollars and they tiped the belhop 2 dollars. That's where the 27 comes from. The 3 dollars they were refunded come from the 30. 30-3=27 which is the 25 they paid together plus the 2 for the tip.

Another one: What runs but never walks, has a mouth but never talks?
A river.

Here's one I like...

Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it,
Five in the middle is seen;
First of all figures, the first of all letters,
Take up their stations between.
Join all together, and then you will bring
Before you the name of an eminent king.
Is it David? (That would be cool because that's actually my name)
You got it. Mine too, actually.

Thats what i said but he said i was wrong.. So then i said that the belhop has it.. But he said that was wrong also..
There is no remainder. The guests paid $27, $25 of which the clerk took and $2 of which the bellhop took.

It's there. Start with the $30 and take the bellhops $2 away. Now you have $28. Take away the $3 that the guests got back and BAM! $25.

THESE HAVE BEEN ANSWERED:
Tallest mt before Mt. Everest was still Mt. Everest
Stamp travels the world but stays in a corner
River runs but never walks and has a mouth that never talks.

Fun for history buffs:

The 22nd and 24th U.S. Presidents had the same parents, but were not brothers. How is this possible?

Here's one of the logic ones.

A dead man is found in a locked room, hanging from the ceiling 4 ft. above the floor. The room is completely empty, except for a puddle of water below him. How did he die?

And

If you cross out all unnecessary letters in the following string of letters, a logical sentence will remain. Can you see it?

Hmm...
Dan & Suzy are found on the floor, dead.
There is shattered glass & some water on the floor, but their bodies are unharmed & they did not drown.
How did they die?
Dan and Suzy are fish and their bowl was knocked over.

My Riddle:

You're in a room and in front of you are 5 jars with different tablets in them, the jars are marked A to E and an electric scale already zeroed is beside the jars. Across an intercom a scary voice says that you have been poisoned and have 5 minutes to live. One of the jars contains the antidote and the rest a stronger poison. The tablet with antidote is 6 grams and the rest are 5. You may only perform a single measurement, performing another will cause the poison to accelerate through the power of riddle magic killing you instantly. You have to determine which is the antidote to survive, how do you do this?

All fixed
Alright then you choose the one with the 6 on it.. Since you said the one with the 6 is the antidote.. And you said it says 6 on the tablet so its obviously the one your looking for but to make sure you compare the one with the 6 against the one with the 5.. if it equals 11 then you are right if it is 10 well then your screwed!

That's a great one. I've heard it before so won't answer it but it drove me to distraction the first time I was asked it.

You're very close. You need to remove those letters.

First one: he stood on a block of ice until it melted.

Second one: Cross out the letters that make up ALL UNNECESSARY LETTERS and you're left with ALOGICALSENTENCE = A LOGICAL SENTENCE

EDIT: Double ninja'd on the second.

You're technically correct. I should have asked "How did he kill himself"
