A pregnant lady named her children: Dominique, Regis, Michelle, Fawn, Sophie and Lara. What will she name her next child? Jessica, Katie, Abby or Tilly?
Tilly. She's following the musical scale: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, TI...

Damnit, ninja'd again!

Another:

'Twas in heaven pronounced, 'twas muttered in hell, and echo caught faintly the sound as it fell. On the confines of earth it was permitted to rest, and in the depths of its presence there was confessed.

A Storm?
A storm is made of wind, creates wind and is served by wind. Wind is not the foe of a storm.

2. Many things can create one, it can be of any shape or size, it is created for various reasons, and it can shrink or grow with time.
A Shadow?
that works, but 'a hole' was what I was after.

A secret?
Correct. A riddle would have also worked.

a new one:

Many things can create one, it can be of any shape or size, it is created for various reasons, and it can shrink or grow with time.
A shadow.

New one:

Forward, I am heavy. Backward, I am not. What am I?
Ton, a measure of weight. Backwards 'not'
You got it!

One more:

Often held but never touched, always wet but never rusts, often bites but seldom bit, to use me well you must have wit.

When you stop and look, you can always see me. If you try to touch you cannot feel me. I cannot move, but as you near me, I will move away from you. What am I?

Two new ones. Quite easy, in my mind.

I found this one quite tough. A candle.

The Process of Deduction?
The answer was A Secret or A Riddle and was already guessed correctly. Rather fitting, I think.

Two new ones. Quite easy, in my mind.

1. My life can be measured in hours, I serve by being devoured. Thin, I am quick. Fat, I am slow. Wind is my foe.

2. Many things can create one, it can be of any shape or size, it is created for various reasons, and it can shrink or grow with time.
First one is a candle?

Old Mother Twitchett had but one eye and a long tail which she let fly; and every time she went through a gap, a bit of her tail she left in a trap.

What is she?

We are very little creatures; all of us have different features.
One of us in glass is set; one of us you'll find in jet.
Another you may see in tin, and a fourth is boxed within.
If the fifth you should pursue, it can never fly from you. What are we?
