Even though I agree with the people who say that it's overpriced, I'd still get it if I had money to throw around, simply because it looks cool.

With the top of the line model, it's actually reasonably priced. I looked at the top model, then turned and looked at a Maximum PC magazine where they used basically the same config. Just the Origin has an extra video card, better Ram, and better CPU clocks. Also the 360, and a few other add-ons, it's reasonable. Why? Because Maximum PC's build cost $15,782, the top model of the BIG O is only $17,000, and better.

Also more SSD.

For just a smidge over seven and a half thousand dollars, you can get the entry-level model, which has a 4.0 GHz quad core processor, 6 GB of memory and a 2 TB hard drive.
That's a rip-off. You could probably get that for several thousand less.
you could also get a 20 quid casio with the hundred grand it takes to buy a blancpain but if you had that kinda cash lying around, would you?

That's so nuts.
Reminds me a Doomwalker from WoW.

And when I mentioning WoW I may also add: "Power overwhelming."

I give it two months before Microsoft bricks the 360s installed in those, which could affect the rest of the system as well.
I will laugh my ass off at the outcry.

Am I the only one who thinks this thing looks like an ugly garbage can?

Regardless of the tech inside it. Outside it looks god awful

Will I be able to play crysis on ultra-high on this?
Nuh. At best, you're looking at medium settings. Crysis is only benchmarking software after all :p

OT: DO WANT.

I saw something on another site where someone looked up all the stuff put in the PC and they had $6000 left over.

So for this price I'm assuming it turns into the Big O?

And am I wrong in thinking that the Xbox 360 in the rig is against the Code of Conduct or whatever?

Thinking logically, WHY? You dont't need a system like that for ANYTHING. Its over-priced, WHY WOULD YOU NEED A 360 IN YOUR PC, and NOTHING requires THAT MUCH internal stuff unless you want to watch porn and play 4 MMOs at the same time... (and apparently an xbox game as well). Not to mention if the Xbox red rings, your SOL. And it will be obsolete in like 4 years, as compared to a car. Or a mortgage. Or other multi-thousand dollar investments.

However, sometimes I like to bludgeon my logical side and just sit there and drool at that pretty machine I'll never own. Its so frivolous, pretty, and awesome. And it beats the shit outta, well, everything else on the market (wouldnt be suprised if you could build the same machine a LOT, LOT cheaper tho). Chances are if you can fork over $17000 for a computer, by the time it becomes obsolete you'll have enough to fork over for the new model. Or your just REALLY bad with money.

*bludgeons logical side* ME WANTY!!!!!

*logical side* BUT YOU CAN BUY A DELL FOR ABOUT $400...

NOT LISTENING LALALA

Overkill, America was built on overkill. As godo as this is, I think they could go further with another 50,000 dollar model. The thing is, there are people who want this kind of computer purely because it is the most badass thing on the planet. As broke as we all are, there are people with way way way too much money, let them go crazy and have 100's of gbs of Ram if they want it. If I was a multimillionaire I know I would spend 50,000 grand on the most bad ass computer in the world, hell I'd probably go a hell of a lot further, why stop at 50,000? Add another zero to that, then we are talking.
