Flying a helicopter in battlefield 3. Getting kills covering the objective for you teammates to move up and spotting everyone you see. Dodging rockets and backing off if I get multilocked. Then a jet smashes into my rotor and he flies of while I'm sent careening towards the ground. Jump out and see my co-pilot eviscerated by the blades (bad luck) while I parachute deep behind enemy lines with no hope of rescue seeing as how my allies are bogged down on the beach. If I keep going I'll turn this into a pretty awesome story but that isn't the goal. Jet pilots. Stop flying into my helicopter. It's annoying.

While not a MP rant I do find that nukeing and nerfing stuff for Pvp when theres nothing wrong with the game but for whiny PvP players is a bit...disheartening. Its called make PvP follow its own set of rules, like reduce stuff 1-100% without messing with game itself.....it tends to make me stop paying for MMOs....

And legit Invasions (both by me and against me) are actually pretty fun! Can you buy Cracked Red Eye Orbs from anywhere that's not the Darkwraiths? Because I really don't want to have to rush the Four Kings to get them... Ever.

Get high enough in the DW covenant and you get a pure Red Eye Orb that never breaks. Alternatively just go to the forest in human form or join the FHC.

There is not enough rage for wesker , until his health is nerfed . Let him keep his damage and his speed , and his godly assist , and his self OTG and his teleports . Just for the love of god , give him the same amount of life as strider or akuma.

Or better yet, nerf his health down to Phoenix levels and watch as everyone drops him near instantly nyahahahaha! Usually i'd hate to see the bullshit nerf Phoenix got happen anyone else, but for Wesker... I'd have to make an exception XD

Oh just off topic for a sec, i'm still waiting for a Phoenix Wright to make an appearance in a tourney at some point... Seriously it's like nobody plays him except me. Apparently a character actually having quite a high learning curve equates to being low tier. Who knew?

So just a little topic, ever had any insanely unfair games/sessions/team compositions etc etc over the course of your gaming career?

For me it's got to be the Invasion system in Dark Souls 60% of the time. Basically you use an item and you enter a random person's game world and try to murder the fuck out of him for lolz. You only invade upwards level-wise though so you're always supposed to be roundabout the same level as the guy you're invading

People start to abuse the leveling system by not leveling at all and getting end-game equipment (through glitches, getting gifted it or just beating the bosses) to absolutely destroy the newer players they just get matched with. Basically after just about failing a legit Invasion of mine (at level 6 with base eqiupment, naturally) I was then set upon by this guy with the most obcene set of end-game equipment i have ever seen.

Waved at him then quit to dashboard. Not losing my Humanity over such bullshit, and to be honest killing some random noob and taking their probably only Humanity, gains you fuck all and you've just ruined some guy's day...

Another problem comes in from people summoning other people to help fight you off, that on its own is fine, the host has to do whatever it takes to live because you're just waltzing into his game session and trying to ruin potentially hours of progress. But when are actually people summoning guys in advance to wait for your supposedly "random" invade and then ambushing you it starts to seem a bit broken.



Oh, and the Red Soapstone is a joke, never use it. It's meant to be a fair fight where you put your summons down, the guy takes you up on the challenge and you fight to the death. Instead he summons a fuckton of guys, summons you and they all just spawn kill you.

The most annoying thing is when someone invades and when you are about to beat them they sprint away and use the crystal to port out (They can run through mobs that are hostile to you)

I have had so many people do that, It's like 'You started it at least see it through!'

It's not the learning curb . Phoenix wright is only good after he gets all his evidence . And then you still need to get hit by him . Hes actually very easy to avoid . Since his movement sucks . Too much preperation needed, but if you manage to actually do it hes nigh unstopable . Also is his level 3 unblockable? Or it hits anywhere as long as you are touching a button? I guess you COULD make a team revolving around him , but it's pretty unreliable.

I'd love to see a phoenix wright , hsien-ko, strider team though . Plus another downside to phoenix write is ... Hes nOt wesker.

The USAS 12 w/ Grenade Shells in BF3... In an otherwise fairly well balanced game, it stands out as extremely OP. The Saiga or DAO-12 w/ Grenade Shells is alright, but you won't see it doing *that*.

The last time I recall something in a BF game being that out of whack was in BF: Vietnam (not bad company dlc), when the American support class had both a shoot-from-the-hip M60 and a Bazooka.

The way to be good at the game at that point is quite literally not to play it. Hide in a house in the corner of the map for two minutes doing jack shit, and that way you don't feed the enemy any kills to unlock further killstreaks. Sound like fun?

Gonna have to go with the Banshee in Halo Reach. It can be countered with a Scorpion or a Falcon, but on the maps where they aren't around that thing can be a real pain in the rear, dive bombing people and fliping around like the pilot has ADHD which makes it impossible to hit with anything other than a SPARTAN laser, and can instakill you with ease. Oh yeah, can the Guass Warthog.

Yes. Fuck guys to take the Banshee at the beginning of every game and proceed to use it for the rest of it. I even see people wait until they respawn so they can get dibs on them. It is one of those very rare instances where I'm tempted to team kill.

Also, this is most likely beaten to death, but the Ghost perk on Black Ops. Also using Lesnar on UFC. You're really just going to keep it on the ground game? Speaking of wrestling, people who use Randy Orton on WWE 12. His Punt finisher is unblockable! Totally unfair.

Unfair? Pay to win is the only thing that comes to mind. With most everything else it's usually not unfair, it's usually just people playing the metagame and/or pressing advantages where they can get them, regardless of whether it's considered "cheap" by others. But if the advantage is equally available to everybody to obtain then I see no reason to call it unfair.

I do love how I pretty much stopped hearing people call the Pyro a noob class when the Degreaser arrived. I love that weapon. It makes playing the class so technical and satisfying. I always roll Flare Gun + Degreaser + Axetinguisher. Though that does make shotgun-carrying Pyros a big threat.
