Nah, not this one I think, it's too far back in the past. He's supposed to be making two of these prequels, so if anything you may well see her character in the second one.
Yeah, might look a bit dodgy given that the movie takes place before Alien ... yet Weaver looks three times older than she did in Alien.

Though I agree that Sigourney Weaver needs moar work goddamnit

For Gods sakes, give that franchise to James Cameron. Let him put in Aliens, Predators and the motherfcking United States Marine Corps.

Aliens is my favorite movie of all time, Alien was fantastic and 3 ..never happened. I hope they pull through and don't wind up making garbage like AvP and AvP:R.
Don't you mean Ressurection (4) and not Cubed (3)?

Ressurection was okay as some sort of non-cannon story arc where things got weirder and crazier.

3 sucked, I said AvP because PReditor is in the same league of awesome, the first one anyway, and AVP was just abysmal.

I thought AvP was pretty good, actually... the second one sucked, but the first was decent.
AvP isn't even remotely close to Aliens or Predator in terms of quality and what not. If you enjoyed it that's fine but to me it was like shoving poo inbetween two the discs of Aliens and Predator. Especially after playing the games for PC

There we go, I changed that to fit how I feel. :)

Sigourney Weaver as Ripley is probably one of my favorite roles ever acted in hollywood. Womens roles, that is! She's trumped only by Linda Hamilton's "Sarah Connor" in Terminator 2. Girl really got into her role for that one! Mmh! :)

I like Alien, I like how it is such an animal demeanor, instead of being some intelligent life form spewed out by OJ-287 that then fell through a worm hole and discovered how to excel past the speed of light or something ridiculously impossible. Alien is one of the few extra terrestrial species that I can actually even half believe is realistic.

Why half? well there is because it has the demeanor of most life forms on earth, savage, angry, selfish, dominant and territorial, so right there it actually has the demeanor of a normal creature. Then there is the half the stops me from believing in it as much, It has acid for corrosive acid for blood, it has an inner mouth that has the speed and physical prowess to break through a human cranium in less than a second, it has babies that are spider like that can jump onto a creatures face and impregnate it so that an alien child will emerge in a small amount of time.

I still like Aliens more than the god awful predator movies, even predator as a movie character is just stupid. I would go on with why I don't like predator, but I don't want this to turn into a rant.

Holy Shit o.o I withdraw my statement <.< The last time I "saw" (on the part of the heavy use of digital animation) her was in Avatar.

Why would they make her look much older when she could have looked like ... well like that in the photo. I guess they were going for the older 'mother hen' thing.
