Yeah, I don't understand how a word "tit" can be used as a slur.
Tits are awesome, go team Boobs! I think the biggest misanthrope in the world, after wishing for our planet to boil in the never-ending volcano of his liquid hate so that it would be cleaned of the cesspool we call civilization, would then admit that "Boobs are nice, though."
Unless the author meant that Gearbox is full of chickadees (small birds also known as titmice, or tits) and ...

*as with everything in human biology, outliers exist in every population. If you feel no instinctive appreciation of boobs and asses - you are ok, you are just different from the median. Different does not mean better or worse, it just means different.

Tit is pejorative slang for an idiot. Pussy is pejorative slang for a coward. **** is pejorative slang for an unpleasant person. Saying 'Yeah, I don't understand how a word "tit" can be used as a slur.' can easily be applied to those other two words if people feel like it. Also attraction to secondary sexual characteristics is no more universally ingrained on the biological level than attraction to primary sexual characteristics nor would that be a validating reason for them to be any more deserving of reverence if it was.Sean Deli said:

We are wired to love breasts and asses instinctively. It's a simple fact, it has been tested, verified and the science has moved forward. Vulvas - not as much, as there was no reason for evolution to create this mechanism. But just as I said - we can still love vulvas intellectually.

So for me it is peculiar, that people of old made slurs out of "tits", "****" and "ass". It is peculiar, because while those people were equally ignorant about all three body parts (allowing for hte slur mechanism of claiming something as vile to work), they were naturally attracted to two of them - and I would assume the natural attraction to influence the cultural aspect. It's hard to use something you are geared to like as a slur - "You, sir, are a piece of Ice Cream! Ice Cream I say, with chocolate sprinkles on top!"
However, a full anthropological and linguistic study of that would be beyond comments to a comic strip.
