Right Wing or Left Wing?

With all this argument over the NHS on both sides of the Atlantic recently, i thought this post would be a good idea, just to see the ratio of Socialist supporting left wingers against capitalist supporting right wingers.
I'm personally a socialist.
I like the idea of a world run by the people who actually do the hard work. the lowly working class like me.
I hate how people like the ex-Enron can take poorer people money and aquander it on whatever they want.
I also hate how people like Sir Fred Goodwin (who should have that knighthood removed in my opinion) can bring a banking corparation to its knees, and then retire with a pension worth hundreds of millions of tax payers money.
What are your guy's views?

Anyways, I say balance is key. If we go too far to the right we'll end up totally screwed because everyone who manages to crawl to the top of the capitalist food chain will screw over anyone else who tries to, and will act with no regard for the public good. But if we go too far to the left there will be no competition, and no reason to excel, because unless the system is corrupted no matter how good you do your job you'll still get the same benefits as someone who does his job just OK.

So yeah, balance is necessary, and corruption must be constantly fought, because in the end, that's what really ruins governments and economies.

There really should be a poll for this, however I am guessing around 5-6 left for every 1 right.

Personally, I think they both suck and the two party system needs to die. Then maybe we can actually have some real discussion. I would say that I lean more right though.

All i know that in europe its Capitalists on the right, along with conservatives, and monachy style things.
and on the left theres Socialism, communism and soviet style things.
In europe Lib Dems swing more too the right, but not as much as the conservatives

The views of the right wing are only from people in positions of power.
The british government despite claiming to be for the workers got into bed with ignorant bankers who brought the economy to it's knee's and led us into financial meltdown and increased the gap between the rich and poor.
In my opinion all countries need to be state run with free medical services and aid.
(it is always god to let your political opinions out)
