You see, there's this character named Skye who is looking for his daughter or something, I think, with whom you can actually pursue a relationship and since it is a Bioware game it was reportedly quie decent. He seemed to be kind of a badass so I was shocked to find out in a magazine that the guy was bi-curious(you could romance him either as a guy or as a chick).

I'm sorry if I can't tell you anything more definitive since I was busy whoring my way between Dawn Star and Silk Fox(someone told me there was some kind of threesome involved but I never found out), and going the bi-curious way for me would have been, well, icky. But, yeah, Jade Empire is definitely a great game so if the romance ends up sucking you can at least have a great time with turning into a horse to kick ass or whatever.

i personally thought that whole mc + cortana was retarded and unnecessary but i guess you cant have an emotionless character (even though mc is freaking emotionless anyway)
i personally think people should just forget about crappy hastily tacked on romance, and leave a good character as a loner or something. plus, its usually the bad guy getting laid as the good guy gets a thank you and a kiss on the cheek by the hot chick

I did. Guys give you useless stuff like the occasional item. But you had to marry them and shit, and since it was useless I always ended loading back to a previous save.
