Rumor: High Definition Metal Gear Solid Trilogy Coming to PS3

If we are lucky and it(probably) is the Subsistence version of Metal Gear Solid 3, we have a chance it could include the bonus features of the second disc Persistence. Hell, it might even include the features of the Limited Edition Existence disc.

IF this is true indeed and IF they include The Twin Snakes in there... I WILL buy a PS3 ASAP.

I don't care if I already finished MGS1 like 10 times, MGS2 like 8 times, The Twin Snakes like another 8 times and Snake Eater 1 time (sorta, a cousin lended me his game and I only saw the beggining and the end).

I would indeed finish them a couple of times more and get all those trophies.

I'll be dancing if this is true, but I wouldn't hold your breath at this stage. Konami can't even be bothered releasing a trophy patch for MGS4.

The better question is which MGS2 and MGS3, the original or subsistance versions. It's be a shame to put these out and not go all out on the available bonus features (if not add some new ones, but I won't hold my breath.) At least make sure all games have a theatre mode.

And, yeah, MGS1 will need either a complete rework, or the GC version with a lot of tinkering to remove a few things. Kojima will probably insist on updating the nuclear stats, and we'll need new things for Mantis to torment us with (not to mention the controler port thing).

are you serious?! i waited 2 years for MGS4 to get trophies before i gave up and now it looks like the original trilogy will actually get trophies SOONER?! also, would be nice if they gave us twin snakes instead of the original MGS1 since i never had a GC

I have the first MGS from the Playstation store and I doubt they can make it look that much prettier, so MGS3 is the only game I'd interested in. But I'm not even touching it if they still have that shitty camera in place.
