OK, this is really getting to be a bit ridiculous. At this point, it seems like HL fans are having a better time speculating about this game, than they are playing the games they have.

I'm not slamming the Half Life series, and I enjoy the entries we have had so far, but this is getting to be too much. The game will be released when it's released, it will have the content that the developers deem proper, in the amount that they have decided to give us. That's it. This water will boil when it is supposed to, and not a moment sooner. Begging, pleading, demanding, and harassing Gabe Newell will accomplish nothing positive.

If one were to display this sort of attention to another human being, one would soon receive a restraining order. That the subject is an inanimate object does NOT make this obsessive silliness any less creepy.

OT: I've waited longer for games that never came out, so I'm not really chomping at the bit for HL 3/EP 3 whatever they call it. I'm under the impression that every attempt they've made at it has been sub-par, so they just keep starting over. They'll get it right sooner or later; steam generates more than enough revenue to give them a buffer.

Actually, having just played through the Black Mesa mod and both Portal games; I've noticed a very similar design structure to them that I hadn't caught onto before. It made me wonder what they hope to do with Half-Life going forward. Do they focus more on innovation or on continuing the story? They can do both, but I suspect that's what hampering their efforts.

Yes I did make a spelling mistake, I realize that, simple muscle memory has me do that sometimes as I'm more used to adding the "e" after an "m" than not.

Also, I never said that KH3 was more anticipated than Half Life 3. In fact, I'm nearly positive that Half Life 3 is more highly anticipated, at least here in the states. I even think it will be over all better than KH3(though I'll still like KH3 more at the end of the day). My only beef with you is that you're being a dick about it and acting like no one gives a shit about Kingdom Hearts, which is an utter crock of shit, and while the Escapist might not have as many of the KH fans here, there are still plenty out there. I was voicing a counter opinion to what was a very arrogant post with a MORE arrogant, and about 50% more accurate post. Then you jumped in with your white knight complex and it became a whole thing. Well, despite the "50% more accurate" and calling it a shit franchise, that was the most civil post I have seen out of you. There are easier ways to call someone out for being arrogant than shitting on stuff that other people like and acting even more arrogant. I usually don't like to insult other people, but at that point, there were very few other words that I could use to describe how you were acting. I realize I might get suspended or a warning for my post, but I said what I said, and with how you were acting, I meant it, and you deserved it. If you really don't care what other people like, maybe you shouldn't crap all over them while you say you don't care. Just as a heads up.

We've gotten to the bit of the argument where I'm leaning towards wanting to be civil with you, because despite the argument, you are NOT the reason I went all up in the anti KH rage and the response isn't directed at you. Look man, The stuff about KH was directed specifically at that other guy. Someone reasonable becoming involved was not part of the plan, so yeah, if I'd known people with brains would have taken offense, I wouldn't have gone all pissy at it.

I understand, and I'm sorry that I jumped into an argument that wasn't that of my own. It is good knowing that you are actually someone who is decent person, but just got slipped up by someone aggrivating. Having been around the internet, I've been there and have done exactly what you did, and probably got a few innocent people in the crossfire.
