Russian Nazis...?

This is actually something that has been bugging me for a while. Since it was Hitler's, what, 120th birthday two days ago, I've been hearing about groups of Russian youths beating up on minorities.

I'm not politically correct, but what the hell guys? 23 million Russians died in that war! And the ones who didn't, and are still alive must be really proud.

The reason for this thread would be: Does anyone have any information on this? Because so far, this makes no sence to me.

Just to point out that skin heads weren't originally nazis,they were recruited and brainwashed by nazis. It's vague and unbelievable but true.

Just because a lot of russians died in the war doesn't mean there wouldn't be neo-nazis there.

Also consider that the winners write the history books. Hitler was a hugely popular guy, a lot of people in the "old world" didn't even care about his genocides and supported them. That's part of what makes him so scary.

People today portray Hitler as some kind of hated fascist who managed to somehow seize power with a handfull of supports and institute a reign of terror in his own country using secret police and then manipulate his evil armies into attacking an conquering other countries.

Things were far from that clear. The German people pretty much worshipped him as opposed to being ruled in terror, as did people in nations like France which is why he was able to occupy such nations without having the manpower it would otherwise require. This also applies to Russia, while Russia DID beat his military (more due to Hitler overextending himself on multiple fronts rather than any genuine strategy or ferocity on their part, had he been able to focus exclusively on Russia he would have crushed them), he also had a lot of followers and supporters within Russia and would have been able to hold the country with the support of a sizable amount of the Russian people themselves. The final days of the fighting saw a lot of the german supporters of Hitler die in something called "The Volkssturm" but a lot of his international support remained, which is one of the reasons why the spectre of Nazism has not died.

im not exactly sure why they hate foreigners etc. so much, maybe its because it is a fairly poor country?

Yes millions of Russians did die because of communism! They made a race law that if you critised the Jew you would be sentenced to death! The reason this law was pasted is because the Jew basically wormed there way into the political system is was something like 197 Jews in power of a possible 213 positions.

All these communist leaders were Jewish; Starling, Lenin , Trotski , Marx ALL OF THEM.

So you must forgive the Russians for not wanting more foreign entities in there land.
