Yeah, the ending does leave it open for that. I think the creators deliberately left it that way.Brad Shepard said:Failhammer said:I agree, I just watched the last episode again today. I almost cried, given:RadioActiveChimp said:Code Geass, tragic.
Nunally's reaction once Lelouch reveals the Zero Requiem, and that no one but her and Suzaku will know the truth.im still going with the Lelouch is alive Thesus thats out there, because it makes sense.
im sorry no. that ending was not sad. that ending was dragged out. they could have ended that series on the high school other dimension episode and it would have made sense and have been so much better than 'oh no my daddy hates me! wahhhh'. seriously evangelion was one of the worst animes ever made and people need to start looking into a good one. like Baccano!(no im not adding the exclamation point for fun thats the title of the show)Elle-Jai said:This, andhotpotat0wned said:deathnote ending was really really sad
this, and I agree withSimuLord said:The ending of the song "Puff the Magic Dragon". You know why.

Apart from these, the ending to Evangelion (despite being all kinds of "off-my-meds" crazy) was so sadI'm surprised it hasn't come up yet :/
How is he an asshole when you came into the thread already knowing that The Road was already a depressing book from the beggining? OT: Fallout, the first one.Arsen said:Asshole spoiled The Roaf for me...
Yeah I hated Adam Sandler for Click. My friend and I went to see that movie because we were both feeling really down, and thought Adam Sandler would be good for a laugh.XT inc said:I dunno if the movie click had the saddest ending, they just buzzkill you steadily and then try and patch it up at the last second and it doesn't even matter.
have you seen the film serenity? that's the firefly ending in my booksGod said:The ending of Firefly, or the lack there-of, because it got canceled. A very sad day indeed.
Yeah, that ending was incredibly sad, not that that series had any joyful endings at all though.I Max95 said:the amber spyglass book
it made me sick to my stomach with them condemning two major characters to an eternal imprisonment in an abyss where they will fall down for the rest of eternity, splitting up the romance sub plot two chapters after it has commenced
and this was just dissapointing, i REALLY wanted to here more about the huge war and all i got for a climax was the aformentioned two characters tackling the bad guy down the aformentioned Abyss very anticlimactic and left me saddened and dissapointed
The School Days ending was hilarious.Stoic raptor said:Doesnt everybody know about school days.

thanks for ruining that film/book for me..tjbond911 said:"The road" the book and the movie. WHen the dad dies in the end and the kid is left alone.... it just sucks. well at least he found another family to live with.
This, this, a thousand times this. That whole MOVIE was just one huge depressing piece of work.captaincabbage said:The Ending of Grave of the Fireflies. It will make you shed manly tears.

Seriously. I've seen a lot of movies, and whenever someone asks me what is the saddest ending to a film I can think of this one ALWAYS SPRINGS TO MIND.
Well I cried, which makes it a sad ending. I know he's a whining little git, but it wasn't for HIM that I was sad...boyvirgo666 said:im sorry no. that ending was not sad. that ending was dragged out. they could have ended that series on the high school other dimension episode and it would have made sense and have been so much better than 'oh no my daddy hates me! wahhhh'. seriously evangelion was one of the worst animes ever made and people need to start looking into a good one. like Baccano!(no im not adding the exclamation point for fun thats the title of the show)Elle-Jai said:Apart from these, the ending to Evangelion (despite being all kinds of "off-my-meds" crazy) was so sadI'm surprised it hasn't come up yet :/
